Multiple people saw him climbing onto the roof with a rifle and told the police and SS. Instead of booking it to the building they stalled and played dumb. I was wondering if he had camped on the roof to avoid having to go through a security barrier but he just climbed up while the 100+ people charged with protecting Trump did nothing.

Generally, it seems all the reports of the guy did immediately go up... and command either sat on them or simply failed to realize the situation. On the ground guys were fine, it does seem that the sheer fuckup was up top.

Here is the thing. lets talk historical precedence and The Center. Historically, when dealing with major watershed moments, The Center sides with the faction which did -not- escalate -first-. So far only one side really has escalated but up until very recently the media had successfully obfuscated. And the media still had the last lingering remnants of credibility with The Center. And then something happened, something proved that the media had been lying to everyone all along.

There is no overstating how much that damned debate did damage to the left-wing's ability to keep a lid on people Noticing. That word being on the table fundamentally changes The Center's relation to The Left. Now The Center will be silent if The Right acts in turn. If an inciting event occurs... The Center will now side with at 'best' and condone at 'worst' the lynchmobs that appear. History shows what happens when these things occur... and its never pretty. So now every politicians with even a couple braincells suddenly is really, really hoping no inciting incident occurs.

Multiple eyewitness said they pointed out the shooter before the shooting took place and Secret Service did nothing. Shot was made at ~150 yards. How did this guy get so close with a long gun? Yeah that's a good point, I have seen redditors talking about how Trump is just as senile as Biden or some other crap, and yet he had the quick wit to make sure he got that picture for the campaign.

Ignoring the other problems with that, or the problem with your analysis being predicated on a shooter's aiming skill alone rather than the capacity to wait for a window as well.

There's a difference between being able to place a shot at 150', and knowing how/when to do it when the target is occupied like, say, someone trained to assassinate a high-priority target would. There's no good reason to suspect this is anything other than a retarded nutcase who genuinely didn't understand just how badly their actions were going to affect "their side".

When I say "they wouldn't miss" that's what I'm talking about, someone who actually had some measure of training to ensure a hit at the minimum.

Yeah that's why I specified "not all." And I think the people who tried to point him out did so when he was already on the roof, lying down and looking like a sniper.

Even then, I bet 99% of the people who saw him on the roof just assumed he was a SS sniper wearing slightly unusual gear. "There's a sniper right there? Where I can see him? Well, it's so obvious that everyone must know about him by now. He must be part of the security team."
