This narrative is really starting to bore me. Grifting/engagement farming is what he was doing prior for months, when he was lying through his teeth pretending to be moderate, increasing his reach, making new connections, appearing on all sorts of new big mainstream platforms that spread his name and gained him views and revenue. That was insincere, that was calculated and rational.

I thought just outrage farming for clicks on twitter and views on twitter/youtube, but it was deeper than that. I think it's a way to cope with the tidal shift that assassination attempt was, and if i'm being very honest, I'm still trying to come to terms with it.
