24 hours of nonstop, wall to wall media coverage and speculation for a failed assassination attempt. The copycat effect is gonna be really bad after this, especially for people around the shooter's age. Including this election onward, the average number of assassination attempts on candidates during presidential election cycles will probably be > 1.0. Would-be spree shooters who do it for notoriety are gonna pivot towards quality instead of quantity of their kills.

Politicians have to make an appearance eventually, and if the leaders of the country can't be found they will turn to the leaders of the states or cities.

A lot of these kids are rabid, kept in check by the false hope that Biden would win the election. Now that hope is gone so they are going to turn violent.

It's the first major attack on a president in the Internet age. Social media clout chasing is about to enter uncharted territory.

And what's going on with the despairing activists mirrors what was happening with leftist student movements in the 70s. The ones in the US, like Students for a Democratic Society, recruited mainly kids who were angry about Vietnam. For a while they believed that the country was on the cusp of a communist revolution but as the war wound down, people drifted away and they could feel their moment coming to an end. They responded by dissolving their group and then gathering the most hardcore members to form Weatherman, an outright terrorist group that started a bombing campaign.

There are some differences between then and now though. Extreme political rhetoric is much more mainstream today than it was in the 70s - you didn't have TV anchors essentially calling for a civil war. Also, some of the activist leaders of today are SDS and Weatherman members trying for a second bite at the apple. It may be that the rise of wokeism rekindled their hope of staging a revolution, and during George Floyd they may have felt that it was close. They're now mostly in their 70s, so they know if they fail this time they'll never get another try.

Those lines are from blood splashing off the bullet onto his cheek, at the same time the bullet was being propelled forward past his head at an extremely high speed. What would have been flecks or dots of blood in a "normal" blood splatter has been turned into a long, narrow line, because the object the blood splattered off was racing forward in that direction as the splatter happened.

Any other injury without that added velocity (a gunpowder charge, shattered glass from his teleprompter, a blade, whatever retarded idea the retards are pushing) doesn't make that pattern.

Seriously, you don't have to be fucking Dexter to figure this out, just give it ten seconds of thought and apply some third-grade physics.

I wanted to mention that in PA, Bethel Park is actually a fairly upper middle class area. It’s not super poor like some of the other places around it. I was shocked to hear that he was from Bethel Park because it’s so far removed from all that.
