I was pretty convinced Trump's VP pick was going to be little Marco Rubio, but I guess I overestimated the weight the campaign is placing on pandering to Hispanic voters this time.

The Google results for his name is nothing but bull shit about his "dangerous" rhetoric and "Trumpist" language from the usual NPC media sites. It's safe to assume he's alright.
Assuming is never safe, so why assume anything? Better to just say he's an unknown, which he is for most people I think.

Maybe it's because i'm not a retard but i never got why you NEEDED to pick some kind of minority as VP nowadays. Do spics or niggers actually go sheeeeit he got kamala harris as VP i gotta vote she black like me, nevermind she's a cackling hyena

My thinking against Rubio is that the Hispanics that Trump can really get, his already gotten. I don’t think anything he does could get him the California vote and the Cubans are already voting for him so he has Florida no matter what. I actually was thinking he’d make a brown person his VP just to try get more of that pie. But it’s pretty clear Trumps already black enough.

Kinda? It's more a show of "dont listen to the media, you don't HAVE to be a dem."

Trump said he stood up, saw the crowd wasn't moving, and had to let them know he was OK. He's a showman, he instinctively looks for the crowd and knows to interact with them. Only being able to come up with 1 word is probably the adrenaline blotting out the verbal part.

You actually hear something like this happen from professional wrestlers, whose entire career is live performing. When they botch a move, injure themselves or another wrestler, they'll instinctively turn away from or towards the crowd, depending on what they need to show. They'll make the motions as if everything is fine, while trying to figure out what to do, live in the ring. If you listen to their interviews years after the fact, there's all kinds of stories where they describe that reaction, even in the middle of career-ending injuries, to instinctively keep the crowd going.

It's no coincidence that Trump is in the Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Trump knows crowd psychology, and his mic work was/is fantastic.

I think Vance is the worst person Trump could pick. Back in 2016, and 2017. Vance would constantly spew "Never Trump" talking points about the threat of White supremacy and how Trump is recruiting racist into the MAGA movement.
That seems easily overcome with "I mistakenly believed the media lies and had my eyes opened, so should you."

He knew where the Hard Cam was at all times.
