Idk, there’s still a fair amount of difference between the current RNC platform and old Dem positions. AFAIK, and someone please correct me if I’m wrong, it’s not like the RNC has abandoned a commitment to deregulation or right to work.

Tbh, there’s no reason the party can’t support free market capitalism and unions, since unions are ultimately (at least in theory) just an organization like any other. It’s when the government gets involved to give the unions power or make them mandatory that issues start to arise.

What I saw tonight:

The GOP has the bigger tent at this point, as the DNC tent continues to shrink. Tonight, I saw an appeal to all walks of life to embrace what MAGA really is.

After what had happened this past weekend, I think a message of unity is the right way to go about this. Trump's "agenda" is unifying, because it focuses on the wealth, prosperity, and safety of all law-abiding American citizens.

The RNC needed to show that, after the years and years of the corporate media telling nonstop lies about Trump and MAGA altogether.
