The impact of Trump's head exploding like JFK's, which should've happened, would've, I don't want to think about it. I mean, really. We got off so easy on the visuals here.
Seriously, I think this is about the best-case scenario that could've happened here. if the officers were on the rooftop then he likely would've used the explosives instead. imagine the casualties that would've come from that. we were THIS FUCKING CLOSE to the internet going nuclear and the real possibility of an American version of the troubles.
Instead, trump gets a badass photo and a ton of memes made from this, and the public image of the dems are so far in the shitter they've hit chiyna.
I said this on the MATI thread earlier but there's gonna be so much shitty alternate history books made from this. I await the top-tier cringekino that will come from this event.

Fucking what.
Oh, among other things. Said blood was in the middle of the mattress too.
It's like he doesn't even realize how bad he fucked up especially with that debate and this "nothing has changed" stance post-assassination attempt.
It's SOP for Democrats to dismiss Reagan's attempted assassination.

I think I'll skip all of the ones where Trump's head explodes and everything is all rainbows and sunshine with the evil nazis locked away

but explosions with civilian casualties would be very, very bad. It would definitely be a Trigger.

Right? They unironically wanted to put us in internment camps. Then had to get a bunch of EKGs so then pretended they totally never said any of that.

I’m actually surprised that a lot more of them AREN’T doubling down. And some are having their “Are We the baddies” moment.
Personally I'm seeing a lot more doubling down amongst my friends and very little are we the baddies. At best it's just ignoring, at worst is praise for terrorism, or what I found more disgusting, friends boycotting small businesses for supporting the injured/killed civilians. That's just dark...

He was a Pennsylvanian with a strong belief not only in god, but helping his community. After graduating high school in 1922, he began his work in US Army Reserves for 10 years serving this country, and always pushing himself to be the best, and do the right thing. Corey was also an active member of the Cabot Church where he helped his community at the ground level. He went on to a volunteer firefighter at the Buffalo Volunter Fire Department. In the early 2000s, he served as the chief. During time, he would further his ventures, and begin working at a plastics manufacturing company. Not much else is known, but he would later settle down to marry his wife Helen Comperatore who would both have two children (Allyson and Kaylee). Corey Comperatore wanted the betterment of his country, which led him to be an avid support of the former President Donald J. Trump.
It's interesting that George Floyd, the left's venerated martyr, was a filthy fentanyl addicted ex-con, while Corey Comperatore was a law abiding, church-going family man. Quite the contrast.

I post this on a wrong but keeping it there, and saying it ihere:

Hamill is a straight piece of the Devil on Earth. I'm throwing my stuff and pictures away from a few times I met him, even a signed picture I got as a kid.

Whew lads.

Was out with friends touching grass Sat. Tried to check out this thread between working and sleeping in real time. Could never get within 100 pages of The Present. Gave up last night and powered through 250 pages with Highlights. What a ride. So many Sam Hyde pictures.

Funny to see things go from speculation, arguing about who the shooter was, ear analysis, reports of fedposting public tweets, to hope, positive tributes to the firefighter victim, then somewhat normal thread talk on politics, the convention, and Veeptalk.

Just reading highlights I went from unenthused to very positive on Vance. I think he's a solid pick who embodies the MAGA values of what will hopefully be the new GOP. Fresh blood is needed. I could see Vivek doing a cabinet position and then 8 years as Vance's VP and then running himself. Getting a solid bench to carry on his legacy has to be a major focus for Trump now.

And I'm sure with every meme possible being posted in the last 600 pages like monkeys typing Shakespeare this probably had been done by someone, but goddammit if Crooks doesn't look like the beatboxer at 1:50 in TLO Roll Call:

Probably going add to the discussion a bit on the ear thing (@Null this is mostly from talking to a guy who does gunshot wounds and stab wounds in the ER) That’ll hurt for a while. Trump got hit in the helix of the pinna and it’ll be likely he’ll have a little chip out of his ear forever.

Cartilage does not fucking heal, your ear is mostly cartilage. That bit of ear is gone forever. The blood is real because your ears do have great circulation, lot of little vessels. It wasn’t a squib. He likely bled a lot more than we all saw.

The blading allegations are fucking retarded because you can see the ear chunk missing. You don’t cut your fucking ear because that takes a year to heal if you cut cartilage. You cut your forehead or cheek.

we know the rest -is- true. Sniper had reason to think the shooter might have been a friendly he did not recognize, so we can safely speculate he called it in.
Yes, I understand what you are saying. But I think proper protocol would ALWAYS be , something is odd and we are not 100% clear about who that guy is, "urgently move client to a safe location for a bathroom break or something", then when the client is safe then you can go ask questions about "who is that guy?" "is that one of ours?"

What I am saying is that protocol should be "IF uncertainty about security occurs , then immediately move client to safe room, then investigate once client is safe". Not the other way around.

That is how I would design a process for protecting a high-value client. I am not a DEI SS hire though so what the fuck do I know.

At this point I'm not even angry anymore. I'm astonished at the sheer level of cold, inhuman vitriolic hate that posseses these people. They can't even be bothered to pretend to have any form of empathy. Thinking of the mangled form of what their soul must look like makes me feel ill.

It was going in the trash and off the walls anyway, I still have one more 'special' one left I'll keep, maybe. But that one especially I had to destroy, that's the final bit of my old life I think. It's healing to move to the next phase with a little destruction.

All that really seems to known about Crooks thus far amounts to this:
1. Graduated from high school in 2022.
2. Did not have a criminal history.
3. Motive is currently unknown.
4. It is believed the weapon that was used had been purchased by the shooter's father.
5. Explosives were found in the car belonging to the gunman.
6. A high school classmate vaguely said he was a loner outcast type of person in school though there are somewhat conflicting reports about this.
7. Earned an associate’s degree in engineering science from the Community College of Allegheny County in May.
8. Was working as a dietary aide at the Bethel Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
9. He didn’t appear in any club or sports activities in his high school yearbooks, and he wasn’t photographed in his junior and senior years.
10. Records show Crooks was registered as a Republican but federal campaign finance reports show he donated $15 to a progressive political action committee the day Biden was sworn into office in 2021.
11. Generally believed to have had a very private online presence.
12. Lived with his parents
13. Was a member of Clairton Sportsmen’s Club, a shooting club in Clairton, Pa., this was confirmed by a club lawyer.
14. Planned to enroll at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh in the Fall of 2024, according to a university spokesperson.
15. It has been said Crooks acted alone on the shooting.

The FBI is still in the very "early stages" of the investigation as of this time.
Then the immediate question is going to be about what radicalized him to the point of assassination?

He wasn't terminally online, supposedly and was a loner with no social circle. But one day decided to go assassinate Trump, totally winged it, and almost succeeded?

Right.

LGF, for those that don't remember it, is an old righty blog
Nah, chuck was always a squishy liberal. He was mugged by 9/11 and went neocon for a while, but he couldn't cope with the cross-spectrum opposition to islam and ran back to his squishy roots, repudiating everything he'd claimed to stand for over the previous eight years. Holding common cause with "racists" like Gates of Vienna was too complicated for his drug-fried brain.

Stop tagging Null, he doesn't want to deal with our bullshit. How many fucking times do we have to be reminded?

I'm still amazed that this is the best possible outcome, if you were to make a chart comparing the competency of the SS and police to the outcome of public favour
  • if the police were even more incompetent they would not have climbed the ladder, forcing the shooter to take his eyes off Trump. Then he would've had the time to aim more carefully and go more centre mass, leading to Trump's head exploding live on tv and either RINOs taking over the RNC or a civil war
  • what we got had the police climb up the ladder, rushing the shooter so he wasn't as careful aiming and only grazed Trump. that has cemented Trump's presidency and has forced the media to fall in line
  • if the sniper has shot the shooter earlier then there would be no blood on tv, the left would try to spin it as a police brutality thing against a photographer or some bullshit
  • if the roof was watched, the shooter would have instead bombed the audience leading to a lot of casualties and bloody injuries live on tv, which would immediately cause severe chaos nationwide
  • if the guards were more competent then that then they would've caught the shooter/bomber before he did anything and it would barely register in comparison
...that's going to bother me more and more over time

You may want to salt and burn it like a sonichu medalian to rid it of whatever entities it may possess.

It’s weird seeing what the TV news has done to people. Even mild mannered Britbongs have had their brains rotted.

If it had been successful none of the TDS crowd seem to have considered “what happens next?”

If that autistic weirdo had zeroed his sights properly retards who don’t believe in owning guns would be cheering their way into a civil war with angry people who not only own guns but know how to use them.

I am shocked how many retards I know can’t see that.

Young me might have acted like le epic edgy boi online but I’m seeing too many people old enough to know better be utter fucking spastics.

The problem with that is that uncertainty happens more often than you might think. For example, people -really often- will climb onto buildings they should not be on. giving a clear line of sight to a 'target'. Do you stop the entire event for that? And what if it is just a case of misidentified team members?

The end problem is a "Boy who cried wolf" situation. If you end for any amount of uncertainty you will make your protectee more likely to ignore you. And annoy the hell out of them making them resent you. There is a balance to be done here to maintain effectiveness.

That being said, the situation here is borderline. The real problem is that there should have been an -immediate- call in from the swat team saying "That ain't us", also there should have been a call in from them saying they were moving. There should have been a -lot- of communication between the individual units and command that appears to have not occurred or never been relayed.
