Opinion time: I used to think that women shouldn't vote because they vote based on whether or not candidates were hot or not but after so many years of people insisting Trump absolutely must take on Tulsi Gabbard because she's hot and wore a bikini once as his VP has convinced me that maybe people just shouldn't be allowed to vote for the opposite gender.

My guess is Crooks aimed for the head because he thought it had a higher chance of killing Trump rather then just potentially injuring him if he had aimed for Trump's torso. Perhaps he was also thinking in the moment if that story about the police officer confronting him right before the shooting is true. One thing I've thought of is that he was aiming high to compensate for bullet drop. He probably didn't know how far he was. He didn't realize though that it WOULD hit the head instead of dropping to the torso. Idk.

Considering the information about the encounter that is available, maybe the officer wasn't exactly in the best position to fire at Crooks.

Sheriff Slupe says before the shooting, the officer and others were previously alerted to a suspicious person and began searching for him right away.

Sheriff Slupe said this officer was hoisted by another officer to the roof of a building where the shooter had taken a position.

The shooter, Crooks, focused his rifle on the officer who let go and fell off the roof. Then, the 20-year-old began firing into the crowd.

A bullet grazed Trump, one bystander was killed, and two others were injured.

Sniper fire killed Crooks, authorities say.

I don’t take that story at true considering TPTB have really been hammering home the ‘unfortunate’ events that shed any responsibility. Nah, you wouldn't correct that high unless you thought he was an order of magnitude farther away. Bullets drop, but at that vague range you're correcting for a couple inches of drop, not two feet.
