so i looked up some other St. Jude donation confirmation pages and noticed that in some instances if you donate 4 figures it'll add a comma (ie. $1,000 rather than $1000) to the donation amount (this is different from how receipts show it).

I wish the hosts picked up on how boogie has this like "the means justify the ends" sort of thinking. His whole argument for cancer was "well we have been treating it as if it were cancer, the treatment for PCV is essentially the same as cancer anyway (so therefore i may as well say it is)", as if hes entitled to do whatever he wants because he suffered. Seems like there is some kind of nice feedback loop of lying. In his mind he is owed [sympathy] because he suffered more than everyone else, and he would suffer even more if he were exposed, so he is entitled to lie even more.
