It's kind of funny and weird how Amber Heard was a spousal abuser and Johnny Depp was a good boy before the judge and Jury's input. It's strange how Rittenhouse was an innocent kid defending himself from an overly aggressive paedophile before a jury ever said that he was. Can't remember which trial stream it was, but he once went on a tangent about what an asshole he'd be on the witness stand, purposefully being as unhelpful as possible. I don't see any reason why it being his own neck on the line would stop him from doing the same here.
If it's anything like Rittenhouse, stuff like that is off the table unless character is brought up. Rosenbaum's pedo activities couldn't be discussed unless somebody specifically started saying what a good boy he was. Not to disagree with your point that Nick took sides prior to legal rulings, but the judge didn't throw out the case on its own merits. He threw out the case on the demerits of Ty Beard and his shenanigans.
That's one of the most frustrating things about Ty's bungling. Vic now has the cloud of "your case got thrown out!" over his head. Worthless people like ArmzGurl can repeat that ad nauseam now. It was never seen on the actual merits of the case. Ty's usage of the wrong forms, late filings, and general Sun Tzu autist bullshittery got all the evidence thrown out. All the stuff that could've helped the otherwise hard to prove defamation claims weren't there. There is no understating how hard Ty "I promised Vic's mom I'd get him justice" Beard blew it.
Chupp was also, objectively speaking, a bad judge. He had an abnormally high correction rate from the appeals court. He had his fair share of idiotic moves in the case too, like reading Jamie and Monica's documents and assuming Ty's said the same. WeebWars was just a shitshow overall.
He thinks a judge's ruling determines objective reality until the judge rules wrong. Once he's stripped of his rights as a father and gets some jail time for his child neglect and ownership of massive amounts of cocaine, it's obviously the judge's fault for ruling wrong.

I have no doubt that if Nick takes the stand, he will open every single door to having detrimental content from his shows admitted into evidence.
Nick thinks that he can get the case thrown out because a professional drug enforcement officer, based off a certain pattern of facts, made assumptions which turned out to be 100% correct. You really can't impeach the judgement, credibility and professionalism of someone who, after the fact, was proven objectively correct about everything. That alone wipes out most of Nick's argument about the search warrant being invalid.
