Cross-post from the Anisa thread, thought you guys would enjoy it. These are the youtubers Uncle dane, Anisa, and Idubbbz saying the dumbest shit possible about the assassination attempt.

Do the realize it was it was his dad's gun and didn't have any option?

And them that AR-15 is bad at 130y.. 'dealing 'drop' when he had a ranger finger, was practicing a lot...

Too stupid to live. Fuck. You don't see much more Dunning Krueger than this.

Wouldn't the trajectory have fucking removed the back of Trump's skull if he hadn't moved his head a couple of inches?

No idea who these freaks are. "I don't even know anything about guns." Obviously. Talking about a 130 yard shot being difficult, and talking about bullet drop at 130 goddamn yards. My 11.5" zeroed for 50 yards is an inch high at 130 yards firing 77gr OTMs.

Head shots aren't easy, but Trump was a relatively stationary target. Kid was probably firing 55gr FMJ which can be affected by wind, but at 130 yards I doubt the breeze was a huge factor, especially out of a 16" barrel. He came extremely close to making the shot, and probably only didn't due to poor training and/or a lack of any sort of optic if the rumors about his rifle only having irons is true.

"cause you have to account for like drop and stuff"

It ain't hard, even for a basic AR with iron sights. Making hits on human sized targets at those sorts of distances are also not an impossible challenge. Speaking from experience, the peep sights most ARs use are surpassingly capable at most distances below 300 yards. What really messes with my groups is if I decide to use low contrast dark colored targets in conjunction with iron sights. All of this is also ignoring the fact that the elevation of the shot was good, but the windage was slightly off. Given slightly more practice or slightly better luck or a million other things being slightly different, that would have been a shot well within the rifle's capabilities.

That's not to mention that it would be almost impossible to miss if he was aiming centermass. Trump's not 25 year old 50 Cent, he wouldn't have survived several hits from an AR. (And 50 was hit with 9mm rounds anyway IIRC). An all-out embarassment for lefties to fuck up an assassination this bad. That being said - stay strapped, stay alert. You don't want to rely on luck when these things come up.

I forgot about that place, is it still godawful?
I think he's trying to use it for something it's not designed for. Or rather in a way that regular discord users aren't used to using it.

The only positive experience I've ever had with discord was with a Uemy coding course I took a while back, and even then the real time chat features just caused topics to be constantly derailed.

The most positive discussions I have online, are on KF and a military history forum also based on XenForo and also tightly moderated.

Brandon Herrera recreates the Trump assassination attempt:
It's a great case study of what happened, as well as some mythbusting. I really appreciate him coming from a "couldn't have been an inside job, let's have a look why".

The message at the end was great, about what the United States is. And if someone disagrees, politically, how things aren't decided at the ballot box - the fate is how the remains of the dummy of the shooter. Very powerful message, which I'm sure Jewtube won't like it (even if he made sure to not say anything about politics).
