Cant say I am surprised. If you are going to touch this sort of topic, make sure you know your audience because you will lose a chunk of it if you dont say the "right" things for all to hear. With youtubers like Synthetic Man, he really wears his unpopular opinions on his sleeve so his audience is fully on board with whatever he might say. Fence sitting is a dangerous game and I havent seen a youtuber that wasnt fucked by it sooner or later.

Anyone who says Charlie is a centrist because he's a fence sitter is wrong, Charlie isn't a centrist at all, he's an apolitical NPC. His takes never breach surface level observations not only because that's the safest route to take but because that's the depth of his political understandings. He doesn't understand why transitioning a minor is wrong because it's currently in vogue and he only has mass consensus as his guide for what's moral and what isn't. It doesn't occur to him that a child transitioning into the opposite sex is tantamount to pedophilia because he's never thought about it with any serious conviction or done any original research, he relies on what experts tell him without applying critical thought to the notion that people in power might have an incentive to lie for personal gain and will abuse the trust he gives over to them uncritically, and he gives it to them uncritically because he's lazy and unmotivated, and he's lazy and unmotivated because he, like Destiny, is comfortable with his situation and doesn't want it to change.

You can see this in all aspects of his life, his only actual interests are childish things from childhood like Pokémon cards and shit. The only video games he actually plays are whatever the new flavor of the month game that everyone’s talking about is and he drops it the second a new flavor of the month game comes out. The only movies he reviews are whatever the current marvel slop and other “block busters” are. He really is just an NPC goy

I think he did the right thing. As said above, this dude is an NPC, he can't really take this heat. Fucking off from the IBS deathmatch arenas is always the most sane and rational move, you really don't want to be trading Ws and Ls with orangutans like Sneako.

Just make this nigga go back to his gameplay and commentaries, those were funny. His content went to shit the moment he decided to become yet another talking head.

If anything this shows me how important it is to interrogate your own beliefs as much as others. Cause that's pretty much the main reason Charlie sounded like a retard and was somehow beaten in a debate by Sneako.

Ironically, the fact that Sneako's got such a retarded stance helped him here, cause he's used to justifying it and could lay down these traps that Charlie fell straight for

A couple years ago Wings of Redemption said Charlie will be just like him in 5 years. That his audience will grow out of his content and he should save his money before its too late. Wings would have never have guessed that Charlie would have an opinion so retarded that it will follow him for a long time.

It's interesting that this whole drama comes at the heels of a recent video he made about Kyle Carrozza, where he commented about not being able to listen to the Lost Prophets anymore because of what the lead singer did.

It's not a 1-to-1 comparison by any means (and I definitely don't disagree with him that I cannot listen to that band anymore) but it's a bit funny nonetheless.
