RHDN got infested by troons. No-no words and funny shit that would hurt fee-fees were serious business and ban hammered. Basically stifling creativity and shitting on the origins of ROM hacking.

RHDN was also a great site with lots of good hacks, decent organization and their online tools were really helpful. I hope it sticks around in read-only format tbh, I was sick of all the "new hacks" that were just about changing pronouns in text strings and making characters like Link a pretty little princess. Fuck those people, they banned goddamn Pope Hentai and Dr. Floppy for fucks sake.

Who was the previous owner of the site, was he either left or right leaning? The wording on this post mortem make it look that it could be anyone behind the "nefarious" intentions of the new owners, from the evil hacker known as 4chan to some troon with a vendetta against him. I'd rather see this develop and see if someone is loud (or stupid) enough to directly or indirectly imply whodunit.

The phrasing of the shutdown message is very suspicious. I have no evidence but I want to point out:

I discovered a most dishonest and hate filled group. I learned that I had been dehumanized for a very long time.
