I have extreme doubts that a single layer of normally wrapped aluminum foil was enough to cause a fire in a microwave. People across the nation put aluminum containers in the microwave on the daily and houses aren't burning down left and right. Even the USDA says it's safe in microwaves in many circumstances. Yes, on YouTube you'll find videos of people starting fires with aluminum foil, but it's always a big scrunched up ball, which sparks more easily because the sharp corners collect the electrons.

Mayyybe the bag helped cause the fire because it was next to the aluminum and flammable, but... how long was he microwaving it for? He didn't notice it sparking before it caused a literal fire?

I see two options here:

1. He is making up the story as part of an "uwu I am an adorable hot mess who needs help to function in society" persona

2. His retardation is influencing the physical world around him to the point where it is causing random fires.

Right now my wife is clueless, I shave all over, wear cute flared jeans, even told her I was going to get laser done on my face and I'm growing my hair out too.. hell, I'm even working on making my voice more feminine and she doesn't have a clue yet. I'm probably going to tell her soon because I'm not going to spend money on a therapist to get gender affirming care until I come out and tell her what I've been struggling with my entire life since I was a child. I really hope she takes it well because I do love her.

I plan on telling her tomorrow, I just don't have much self confidence or courage as my parents verbally beat that out of me when I was younger.
