The guy is a junior developer at best, doing the gaming industry equivalent of stolen valour, and tries to pass himself off as some game dev guru.

Guy that fakes his voice with modulator software, fakes his job experience, „fakes“ his comment history by pruning all negatives, and also is a nepo baby with a lot of disposable cash to throw at random ppl to get an audience - you’re telling me he’s above buying YouTube, twitch and steam interactions?

Really? I just installed it and it looks exactly like that, including the color looking the same, down to the fact that everything except for the view count is colored.

Edit: I just took a look at his profile and he isn't marked as trans friendly, but things turn green if you yourself decide to mark it that way. Did he seriously mark himself as trans friendly?

Ah, i saw that twitter had a green option that looked like the one in the image, i even tried Shinigami Eyes and got confused when his name wasnt green, but apparently he marked himself green lmao

He honestly has a good take here and pretty much every Linux user would agree with him, and yet he is still retarded enough to keep using Windows. GameMaker Studio supports Linux and so does all the other software besides Chrome.

He's just complaining about an issue and doing nothing to fix it. Literal woman behavior. Maybe he really will troon out :story:.

He's right though Fuck windows and all their shit. If I didn't need windows only programs I'd go linux at this point and I can't be asked to figure out how to boot windows inside linux or whatever the fuck you people do.

Sure, Linux isn't for everyone. The learning curve is a bit steep at first but after using it for a month or so you should know what you're doing. But considering that Jason claims to be this epic technical wizard with decades of experience, you would expect that he would have the knowledge to use Linux. He's so smart when it comes to pentesting and whatnot, and with how many servers run Linux, he needs to have at least some level of familiarity with it (if we trust what he says, which I don't). Makes really no sense for him not to with his apparent qualifications.

The other issue too is even if you can move everything over to Linux, you run into the issue of WINE compatibility. Stuff like Paint.NET doesn’t work on Linux. But overall with some effort you can head adapt to Linux.

Yeah you usually have to make a few sacrifices, but you end up realizing that the stuff that is available on Linux is usually better anyways. Also, does Paint.NET really not work on Linux? I figured with Mono that it would be possible, since as the name suggests, it's a .NET program.

It's funny that if this dude didn't constantly claim to be an expert in multiple fields with an unreasonable amount of experience for his age, he wouldn't actually be getting scrutinized like this. I can't wait for this to leave PG, the guy is probably going to react poorly to this.

Sometimes.

The Linux stuff isn’t 100% better. It performs better but you have to relearn things because the UI/UX is the last thing on a Linux developers mind.
