I'm no Nick Rochefort, but a number of the amenities in the house feel dated, so I'm guessing the floor is laminate. Either way, the way its construction is on the inside, feels like something that wasn't a house but turned into one. If you were to bring the walls down and make it mostly one big room with that kitchen, it'd feel like the community hall at a church or something.

The house that's for sale is the one Nick and Kayla own jointly. Given that he wanted to sell that house before this all blew up, there's a good chance the financial pressure is coming largely from the Montagraph legal action and the mortgage which was taken out on their current house.

Nick hasn't lived in that house for years and there's no suggestion that it was used for manufacturing or supplying drugs or that it was purchased with drug money so it's unlikely to be relevant.

Maybe but they wanted to sell that house before this blew up and Minnesota has strong spousal privilege laws based on what's been posted previously.
