It makes me wonder, can a guy like Phil really be cancelled? I assume that most people who get cancelled realized the way the wind was blowing and felt that there was no use in trying to salvage their online careers. Phil's been cancelled many times. Twitch banned him basically for being a scumbag. Machinima booted him eventually. Nobody wants to use him to sell any products. Youtube's algorithm shunted his channel to effective non-existence.

What you're suggesting by cancelling Phil from making any money online doesn't happen to anyone, even the worst people.

Phil is also very beholden to his bosses. They shifted his entire persona to the fence-sitting coward he is now.

Phil can absolutely be cancelled. The reason people have a problem with this KC arc is that the paypigs didn't stay in their own Lane and are going in and dumping insane amounts of money on Phil's boring ass content. The last few months before this were great as Phil's feet were really being held to the fire with the loss of income and he was visibility shaking all the time.
Ad revenue is probably a good chunk of Phil's incoming prob 1.5k a month going off doody 's numbers. Plus as we've seen over the years, people value convince over following their favorite content creators to different platforms. The fans stick around for a bit but fall off as they go find other streamers on youtube. Leaving only the extremely loyal core, like adolwolf with ralph.

Most people just point and laugh at Phil, and at most, do it with others. A lot of that involves literally watching one thing he says/does and using it to contradict something else. Like for me, I love laughing at his wild metaphors, his exaggerations, and of course how he weaponizes his inability to balance his own budget. And yeah some people do get MATI at some of the things he does and says, but 99.99% don't go past that.
