Becky is either re-writing history or by "didnt turn out that well" she is talking about the fact Karen Stollznow is desperately trying to use DMCA, to get every mention of the fact that just before going to court she completely backed down and withdrew charges against Ben Radford, and spent the $64k Becky had helped her to raise for a legal defense on shoes and crack (not the wymins charity she had promised).

The very fact that karen Stollznow's name has just been used by me in connection with Ben Radford will have Karen really really pissed off at Becky.

Thundertard does a video where he goes into Sticky Dickies Affidavit
and comapired and contrast previous blog posts with what Dicky is claiming.

Its actually kinda funny for Thunderfoot.

The first 10 mins is TF getting his A+ hateboner out of the way. From about 26 mins there is
a really creepy R U DTF email Carrier sent to Heina Dadabhoy, and her "fuck off" response.


One thing that came out of an email exchange is the woman who accused Carrier of creepiness Lauren Lane, offered Carrier sex in exchange for a reference.

Fucking hell, m8. I stopped following around the adventures of FTB, PZ Myers, Rebecca Watson and Slicky Dick around 2015 or so, to pursue the funnier lolcows around Gamergate and sucj... just in time to miss the whole juicy stuff. Damn! And now it's probably too late to really enjoy it. Can someone point me to a good recap/summary of all this? Is Dick Carrier doing exactly what he condemned Ben Radford for doing back then? It's too good to be true.

at a conference who wasnt Richard Carrier.

Dont know if you saw that Stolznow withdrew all charges against
Ben Radford, didnt pay and of her "defence fund" back, and is now
DMCA'ing any and all mentions of the sexual harrasment case.

I know that Pitters occasionally read here, so I'm wondering why
Mykeru has gone so quite lately?

I'm new to all this too, but the general gist seems to be:
- Carrier is a lech who constantly hits on people right up to, but not crossing, the legal line of "sexual harassment"
- Everyone in the professional atheist convention circuit gets sick of him
- Crucially, when they finally go public about being sick of him, they frame it all in terms like "unsafe", "violent", and so on - intending the overinflated social-justice meanings of those terms rather than the normal ones
- Carrier files a lolsuit saying "Dude, you just publicly called me a dangerous predator"
- Everyone involved is a petty moron

The tragic irony in the shakespearian sence is Carrier was fundamental
in setting up the A+ movement which caused the meltdown of the thriving
American atheist convention curcuit.
He and his friends at FtB and Skepchick were the staple of the undercard of speaker,
warming the auduence up for speakers like Richard Dawkins, Michael Shermer and
Lawrence Krauss who obs got the big bucks for their time.

Around 2012 the undercard made a power (and money) grab, using the
tactics of no platforming. Dawkins was accused of racism and muhsoggyknee,
Krauss of basically being a mate of Dawkins, and Shermer of yer actual rape of
a young conference staff member.

Conference organisers, reeling from all the literally worse than Hitler
behaviour they had facilitated were all forced to sign up to code-of -conduct
to reign in the rapists before any of the undercard would speak, and of
course the arbiters who policed the code of conduct were the undercard themselves.
Carrier was a a big proponent of the conduct policies, as it would attract more
prey, sorry wimmin into the conferences. It also meant he got to stay on the good
of the harridans.

Unfortunately for the actual conferences, the atmosphere became so toxic that
one of the big ones closed (reason rally) and the smaller ones fractured into
splitter and splinter conferences.

As I understand it, the original accusation against Carrier was
"he touched my arm and was a bit skeevy", but the fact that the likes
of Greta Christina, Amy Lee Roth and Rebecca Watson are the people
who call the shots over who has and who hasnt broken the code;
A drunken Stephany Zvan (IIRC) performing fake felacio on a waiter
who looked like he would rather be tearing his own fingernails out
was apparently fine, means that any menz who are out of favour get
called almost rapists and thrown off the circuit.

I believe any conference code-of-conduct is now called a Carrier's Petard.

Peezus Myers was trying to shame the Nazi of the Mythcon conference by raising more money than they did.

Fail. They raised less than a sixth in a week that Mythcon raised in 24 hours.

Well, they say the definition of stupidity is doing the same thing and expecting different outcomes...

However reading about Dr Dick it seems he may well be even more of a hapless buffoon that our man Sargon.

Any comments? Is Sargon going to get a win and boost his ego or will he be thoroughly drubbed and humiliated?

There's some twitter drama going on between Kristi Winters and Carrier right now, that once the coffee has kicked in , I will take some time to get both their threads updated.

But to answer your question, Carrier is actually a pretty shit hot debater. Whether you agree with his position or not it is obvious he meticulously researches his position and can think on the spot.

Carl is going to get analized I'm afriad.

This is probably the best debate in terms of watchability, his opponent is very knowledgeable and a good debate himself, but I think Carrier narrowly carries it.


This is a christian radio show debate, so not so watchable, but again Carrier narrowly carries it agains a PhD in his own field.


Carl is a spastic sperg with an uncritical youtube following. He's basically fodder.

So now the fanboi stuff is out of the way , I'll update the thread with some of Sticky Dickies sexual shenanigans a bit later :)

If anyone is interested, Tim O'Neill an actual academic historian (who is an atheist who is a member of the Australian Atheist Foundation and the Australian Skeptics) posted a critique of Richard Carrier and why he's a complete idiot and also a creepy, narcissistic (alleged) sex offender.

So I'm going to assume that everyone is aware of the Mythcon shitstorm last year (and this is going to be crossposted to the K Winters thread with ammendments).

You'd think that as Carrier had meticulously followed the rules of SJW transactional sex, the offer was made , the grounds clearly stated and enthusiastic (if profitable, if you think hotel/drinks/pass is worth Dr Dicks semen getting in your eyes) consent was sought, then mysoggyknee and the patriarchy could'nt be invoked.
