I have always considered this the most likely explanation as Nick was just looking for a lie to tell that made him look cool, but failed to realized that the lie he told actually made him look like a fucking dipshit, which is par for course for Nick.

I just hate how they deliberatly make the law as long and impossible to understand as possible, just to stimulate demand for people just like them.

I still don't understand how countries can operate without a single lawbook that everyone reads from and anyone can access, even if it is 10,000 pages long. It all seems to rely on someone just remembering a particular case or statute for every particular occasion.

It's on purpose. Unclear wording gives more discretion to the powers-that-be in how they interpret it in any given case.

I confess I was confused by this myself long ago. I learned that measuring humanity against some rational standard was not effective. Instead, we clumsily do things that work passably or die. Measuring against the past is the way to go, IMHO.

Yeah, you are right, guys. I see it now, it's the same dress. I didn't compare the photos this morning and misremembered some details.

It's funny that it's between "Nick took his side piece out in a dress she got from her ex" (that Nick had gay sex with) or "Nick took his side piece out in a his pilled out wife's dress". Neither is good for Nick, but the first one is way better for April, it's funny she'd rather lie about it.
