Now? A litany of failed ventures behind her, she chased herself out of like 4 different cities by being BPD social poison and is now in LA, the last place that'll accept her. People are publicly supportive and polite to her, but numerous associates have let it slip that everyone immediately warns the rest of the community about her behind her back, especially after Holowka offed himself.

She just stopped replying, she spent the money on an luxury trip to Japan, and continued with her life. I'm still in awe.

The internet is rife with scams, but this has been the most in-your-face theft there has ever been. She made no attempt to cover up the incident, the Kickstarter page is still there, some simps even comment on it as of this date (!). No mainstream journo ever talked about that; if anyone brought that out you were a neo nazi gamergater rapist apologist; as of this day if you try to add it to her wikipedia or associated pages it gets deleted in seconds. She just... took the money and left. Kickstarter takes projects down for the flimsiest of reasons (which was the reason of their downfall for Patreon et.al) but in this case they just let it happen because... women?

If you are Chelsea's devil advocate, you can argue that all of her heinous acts are open to debate depending on your values. I can easily doublethink Alec Holowka's death not being her fault (Sure Chel, he dragged you over his apartment with the fingers up your puss). But up to this day I have no idea how the troon/SJW/Globohomo squad could defend the Kickstarter heist on its heyday. As you point out though, she's by far not the only one to get away with that. Lucas being the most obvious recent example. They inevitably get the same karmic retribution for being a grifting cunt, which is no real justice but getting quietly, and sometimes loudly, blackballed from social groups they used to be prominent in. Really, the people who escape karmic justice are the ones who gleefully join in on every pile-on, denying that they ever attacked people who went after their sacred cows until they deemed it a good time to join in.

One useful thing I took away from Zoe's Kickstarter was a rule of thumb that hasn't started me wrong since: unless you're offering something spectacular, every internet fundraiser sold on being a woke cause célèbre will at best max out at $85k US. That's about what Zoe and Lucas got, ValiDate got about twenty grand less. But that alleged untapped audience they keep insisting is out there, so everything needs to have idpol shit to appeal to them? They're at most $85k.

Zoe Quinn was never "at the top" of anything - which is the point. Millions never flowed through her hands (as much as she would have loved that) and her "big steal" Kickstarter was $85,000 - which virtually no money at all for the culmination of years long scam.

A "narrative designer" is a non production job you can just stick someone in gamedev - and if they don't work out you just cut them loose. They aren't programmers, real designers, or leadership and certainly aren't paid "the big bucks" - the people who earn big in game dev are people who demonstrate they can make things happen, which wasn't Zoe Quinn clearly wasn't. She isn't swimming in money between pity jobs and there are only so many studios in town that would even consider taking a gamble on her at this point.

Marvel was much the same thing - a limited run series with 0 investment that never amounted to anything. An extremely low risk gamble for Marvel and one they make all the time. Comics aren't some "sacred ground", literal nobodies make runs all the time. For every "Deadpool and Wolverine" there's hundreds that missed the mark. This would be another venture for Zoe that did not generate very much money at all - given the low sales in a dying industry.

All of her ventures (including her book deal) all basically hinged on her being a controversial person and not a talented one.
