Mega Rad Gun Thread

This clip stood out to me in showing how much of a limpwristed soyboy idubbbz is, even in 2018.

The way the LCR almost flies out of his hand not once but twice might make one think it's a .357, but Ethan's handling of it mere moments later proves it's just a run of the mill .38, he can handle it just fine while idubbbz looks like he's about to drop it from the sheer force of .38 Special's ferocious recoil. What a faggot.
It's like moving to LA doubled his estrogen levels. The other part that stood out to me was when idubbz' Mosin caught a bad case of stickybolt and he just gave up on shooting it.

I'm probably going with the KAC grip for simplicity.
oh, it's worth mentioning that the tango down grip was real popular for a while too, along with whoever made the QD "saw grip" which was absolutely amazing on the SAW and 240. i prefer the KAC grip personally, or for some guns the aluminum troy grip since it's a big old heatsink and makes using some guns much nicer to use.
Did I make a bad decision trading a ruger SR556 for a 1901 production winchester 1894 in 30WCF (30-30) for you youngins.
are you homesteading or "steady, homie"?

Both Garand Thumb and Brandon Herrera have compared “garbage rod” ARs with overpriced ARs in somewhat recent videos. They both seem to have reached the conclusion that the overpriced ARs are very good, and the cheap ARs are pretty much just fine.

Discuss.

P.S. I still do not have an AR. I am considering buying a Radical Firearms AR because Radical is local to me. Complain about this

Within reason, yeah. You have to try hard to screw up an AR but with enough Mad Dog 2020 it can be done. PSA has good customer service as long as you keep communication to a minimum, so if you do get a lemon they'll either repair it, adjust it, or replace it.

Radical, last I heard, had problems with brittle parts. Not the worst customer service, though.
But both could have changed since.

It depends how many rounds you will put through it. Most people won’t put a lot of rounds, so they won’t notice a difference. How much does durability matter to you?

Reminder. Go shoot your guns. Its fun to do and makes you better at shooting.View attachment 6388387

I mean, the vast majority of people buying guns do not shoot them. As long as it can function well enough to fire a box or two at a pile of trash once a year, that's probably good enough to satisfy the average joe. It doesn't make those guns "good" or even "fine" in terms of their usability in a self defense or SHTF scenario. I don't think most people have thought that through, and just want a fun toy to play with sometimes. Which, there's nothing wrong with, but they won't be honest about it.

I don't have any experience with Radical, but I wouldn't suggest it. Any manufacturer who unironically uses the MFT minimalist stock should be drawn and quartered for being cringe and retarded.

Fuck them fags who don't push their guns and act spec ops on YT. I'm not ranger marine, but I've shot a fucking Ruger P series out. (I've owned my P97DC) older than half these posters. No joke 50K+ rounds.

I'm very sorry about Pauls passing. Going to Sarco later this month. It's basically gun mecca if you don't know. Was very kind of you all to support my insane idea/plan I'm getting my 6mm. While I don't pretend to be Delta etc, I kinda know how to use a m4. But I just like and collect my older shit. Mrs basso suggests I finish my project pile but no one asked her opinion.

As long as it's not Anderson, it should do.

Brandon Herrera's video was nothing but an ad for that Pepperbox shit.

The FN rifle is definitely a bit overpriced at almost $1900 MSRP, but it can be purchased from several online retailers for around $1500 , and you do get an FN CHF CL barrel and Hodge (Zev, really) handguard with really good lockup to the barrel nut. No idea why FN insists on using their own stock and pistol grip instead of using Magpul or B5 stuff, but whatever. For around $1500, it's a solid purchase.

The Radical rifle's handguard looks like something I could buy from AliExpress, it has that stupid MFT minimalist stock, and the product page says exactly nothing regarding the BCG. Who doesn't like buying mystery meat BCGs? Even PSA will give you BCG specs on a rifle's product page.

All that said, everyone's got a budget, and if you're on a Radical budget, then the Radical might be for you.

it has that stupid MFT minimalist stock,
I too learned to hate that stock. One came on a POF Renegade Plus that I bought in 2018. Lived with it a for a little bit but then swapped it out for something much better. Why does anyone like that thing?
