The MP7 was always outclassed by the P90. Both guns suck because 5.7x28 and 4.6x30 suck because NATO was retarded with the specs, but at least the P90 looks like an alien gun and holds 50 rounds in a compact package.

The only reason why anyone liked it was because it was unobtainium.
Are we finally concluding the 2002 @nato PDW assessment(I genuinely want @tommybuilt to succee...jpg

Matthew Larosiere of Fudd Busters, firearms content creator, designer and lawyer, has filed suit against Cody Wilson (and other entities associated with him). Link to Court Listener below.
Seems underage prostitute enjoyer Cody Wilson has been repeatedly violating Matthew's copywrite, among other claims. Notable, Matthew's counsel is his longtime colleague and friend Zachary Zermay. Not a lawyer, but skimming the suit it looks solid. No blatantly obvious bad argumentation as seen in other lolsuits (like Rekieta, Greer etc.). Should be fun to watch for all 3D printing drama enjoyers.

I didn't see anyone mention this but last month Matthew Larosiere made two appearances on an anti-conservative gun podcast.

You can find the episodes here:
Matt Larosiere on episode 62 of A Better Way 2A
Matt Larosiere on episode 63 of A Better Way 2A

Their usual schtick is just trying to force social justice issues into the firearms world but they sometimes have mildly interesting guests, anyone ranging from armed leftists to LGBTQIAP+ libertarians. PrintShootRepeat has also appeared on and promoted this podcast.

The design of the STG is pretty good for the 1940's but real ones were not built well. IIRC the headspace was set by adjusting a glom of lead and solder or something janky like that.
There were videos about the nuance on InRange, but those have since been pulled. Pretty sure someone archived/posted them either here or in Karl's own thread.

STG is the most novel and advanced rifle design of WW2. But if you look at it overall, the answer has to be the M1 (either Garand or carbine). Scale of production and deployment.

Kinda the same if you look at sub machineguns. A gun like Suomi M31 or the Beretta 38 are probably the nicest guns to use. But the real winner is a STEN, PPS-43 or the M3 Grese gun.
