This is the way. Come to think of it, I can't believe my luck. Amazing people, no HR, daily contact with the owners, no jeets, I learn new skills every day I come to work and I feel like my work actually matters since our SW dev team is just a handful of White male programmers with the average age being over thirty.From one software dev to another, it literally isn't worth it. Go find a small company and take a 20% pay cut in exchange for 100% of your sanity back.
And what's more, I (you if you heed our advice) still make double the median salary, having started here with no work experience. Knowing C/C++ really helps though.
