Final Fantasy XIV Community - Japanese MMO infested with trannies, gooners, and pedophiles

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
What the fuck even is Final Fantasy and how does it have trannys and whitey all crazed up like rabid animals?

I’ve known the name “Final Fantasy” since I was a kid and I have no clue about the world, people in it, etc. shit must be pretty ass to attract this many niggercattle, pedos, and autistic retards to it.

The worst problem with FF is honestly just the carebear nature of "you don't pay my sub" and people reporting you for a bully that allows so many of them to play like absolute shit. 'You pull you tank' players or 'please slow down were going too fast' ruin the game.

The players are absolutely mental though. The first screenshot is one of my all time favorites. Someone seeing an in game title and somehow thinking it is actually a FC for J6ers.

The best collection of people posting FF14 related things to laugh at is probably the /talesfromDF subreddit. From coomers to dogshit players to people complaining about people being tahhxic to the occasional actual fun interaction.

I didn't see anything about Dreadwyrm Academy in the initial post, maybe I just didn't read hard enough. It's a FC that basically acted like a cult to trap noobs into playing like shit forever. The second attached image is a collection of forum posts that were made after they had a fight with a member who wanted to do Savage Raids.

You can just search the name and find lots of people talking about them. They aren't the only FC like that though. Lots of them do similar things just to a less full on cult degree. So some people just get bad Rng and their 'new player for fun guild' they join traps them into being dogshit players forever.

They wouldn't let you use the marketboard. You had to ask a guild supply person to get you items. You weren't allowed to look at any online guides or Google where to start a quest.

I found an archive of their website about the "Three Pillars".

And a Google docs from around that time that has many reddit posts and chat logs if you feel like reading more. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NESLuAbWhAjnrGNioF0i6NOYOsEFg2ln1HB8l-dbuf0/edit?usp=drivesdk

If dreadwyrm was in the first post let me know so I can delete this.

I would love to know the percentage of players that try savage raids, or at the least extreme trials. I bet the number is depressingly low.
We have no hard numbers, but by modern guesstimates, a lot of people seem to be inclined towards throwing 25-30% out as a number for Savage raiding – potentially higher on JP data centers.

I haven't seen any numbers quoted for Ultimates, but I have noticed a lot more people were in a big rush to clear every Ultimate (and successfully did so in a lot of cases) before Dawntrail dropped, so take that as you will.

Keep in mind a lot of this is hearsay based on hearsay based on hearsay though (yes, I repeated it twice for emphasis). Some people may be inclined to insist otherwise, usually by linking spreadsheet breakdowns thrown together from JP community spaces, but I believe the hard JP number crunching has lost some degree of credibility after that whole deal where they tried to insist pre-Savage that Viper objectively has the lowest DPS out of every melee DPS class (debatably to the point of being unviable), and meanwhile in practice, Viper has only ended up being the lowest performer in a small handful of cases. It's absolutely not the best melee DPS performer by any means, but it's also not the worst either, but of course, according to this playerbase, if something isn't 100% the best, most meta thing at something, then it may as well be garbage.

I don't wanna wade through 16 pages to check but has anyone brought up that Emily chick that the RP servers all seethe about? I've seen posts about that girl get hundreds of likes on Twitter and they only get recommended to me because I like FF stuff, just not 14. She seems worth her own thread in a way.

Quick in-thread search suggests not. Please elaborate.

Archived. There also appears to be a Tumblr post about this individual from the same source (also archived). They also included a massive imgur post compiling a lot of information together (also attaching a local copy).

I'll look over a lot of this later myself because I do love a good XIV RP cow. (EDIT: This person is really boring, turns out. They do the same things many other problem children in XIV do, they just managed to get a few people dedicated enough to keep tabs on them at this point.)

Dreadwyrm is always good for a laugh on a slow day

This shit is so sad. Do excuse my gay ass rant.
I started playing this game under the promise that there would be awesome fights with cool designs and music, which ended up being true. I started playing for real at the very start of the Endwalker expansion and after slogging through the MSQ, I ended up actually playing some cool ass fights. I had way too much fun doing my first savage raid and since that time I chased the feeling of practicing your job and clearing content. Fast-foward to today, I have done all Endwalker savage and extreme content as they released, did Ultimates and sync'd min ilvl all the other expansions content (ARR~Shadowbringers) and I can truly say that raiding in this game with like minded people is a cool experience.

If there was one thing that always irked me was the looming shadow of the ERP and the Second Life-esque community, and I avoided it like the plague. The rare times I would hear about things like "a mod that makes all the bosses have fully exposed genitalia" was when I joined discord calls to clear content with people on party finder or when I was helping out a static that had one less member for the day. I knew this kind of shit existed but I would just look away, resub just to clear content/read MSQ and leave.

One of the reasons I don't recommend this to friends is exactly the chance of any of them coming across this degeneracy. This is not what this game was made for, but Square Enix don't do much about it because they know it's a big part of the reason people keep their subscriptions up. People fucking in the middle of Uldah. Doing ERP with/as lalafell. Selling pictures and videos of their characters for goon money, all a stain in the name of an MMO that has some good ass raiding.

I don't play it anymore, dropped before the new expansion came out after not being interested in what they were promising for Dawntrail. Nowadays I don't feel much FOMO for it since I basically did everything I set myself to do. After reading this entire thread all I can say is: It's much, much worse than what I thought I knew. Ignorance was bliss.

I love Final Fantasy XIV been playing it for years!

Edit: read a few pages,

I think the whole ERP and Mod thing is vastly overblown, Yes there are a million tranny faggots on each server but unless you go out of your way to find them you never see them. I love the MSQ I love doing events and I'm also a quadra legend and in the top 100 of my class for DSR and once you do anything that requires a modicum of dedication or skill you filter out the majority of the uwu roleplayers.

You tend to get the equally as mentally ill party finder legend parser who have their own drama and hang ups.

Only piece of advice i can give is Make friends and only play with those friends.

Has anyone talked about the Dalamud devs in this thread (not seen anything)? Dalamud is THE plugin that lets people add other plugins/mods to the game and comes automatically/optionally with the game if you use XIVLauncher, a 3rd party client launcher that's leagues better than the original one.

Predictably, all people use it for is add NSFW mods.

The ERP and Mod scene has only gotten more and more of a spotlight on it over time as even content creators are highlighting it for the sideshow attraction that it is, thus putting into greater public awareness as a whole.

I suspect your claims may be a bit disingenuous.

I'm genuinely impressed that I haven't been banned for some of my responses to unwarranted in game whispers about clubs or some shit. They will make their characters WALK and "hand out" pamphlets like it's a real job. I cannot tell if they're kids with that kind of free time or the worse option, just adults without real jobs. I only played for about a month or so though, the story was fun but I'm not particularly social enough for mmos, especially when the average citizen of the US servers are weird gooner fucks. Didn't get banned in that month for telling people to immediately kill themselves, though, but I'd assume in the job of "ERP club flyer dissemination expert" it just comes with the territory.

In honor of this thread moving out of Prospering Grounds, I went ahead and looked up "XIVSelfie" on Xitter. Here are some of the lovely mugs I came across:

And lastly, Sami the tranny "lesbian" who also looks like Shrek.

twittards sat through 3 grueling months of the most unfunniest "hawk tuah" meme and decided to force a "bounce on it" trend because male NPCs with altered quotes about gay anal is funnier or something.

The game would be better single player.

I had a few friends get into it, and I think the community has made them worse people across the board unfortunately.
the game's story is hamstrung by the fact that it's an MMO. No areas are allowed to permanently be destroyed by something, barring another game reboot on the scale of ARR. Coerthas will never have its weather restored to a temperate Eorzean climate and will always be a frozen wasteland. Ala Mhigans will always be in Little Ala Mhigo even after their namesake's liberation. Each expansion gets six "zones" to work with, and no more, limiting the amount of things that can be done by the design teams. Everyone has to be on the same track; there are no branching narratives; optional content sometimes gets a little nod in the main story but if the team decides that it's too tedious for most people to unlock it then they just ignore it entirely (the voidmage stuff unlocked by doing all of the role quests in Shadowbringers).

Funny how the ugly fat Shrek hetero man thinks it’s the “greatest” picture of himself. Clear lack of self-awareness.

From my own observation, most people who RP in this game are between the age of 25 to 35. Yet, they have no trouble acting like it’s real life, and even emulate ordering alcoholic drinks from a bar.

Anyway, happy Community Watch move in!

The actual modders for the game is a whole other rabbithole of autism like this fella that caught someone pirating their mod and confronted them about it

The very fact that these people sell their mods on patreon or their own shops caused this eternal fight between modders expecting money from their ports from other games (or mods for other games like the sims) and people who just use a telegram group or site to grab their paywalled mods
