Having seen firsthand the absolute destruction that transgenderism can do to families and relationships, it's going to be extremely difficult - if not impossible - to walk back some of these people, should they wake up and recover as many anorexics and self-harmers did in the 90s and 00s. We're honestly about to see the true limits of societal compassion, and it's not going to end very well.

The psychology is akin to SI or ED behaviors, but the damage done to the body and family is more akin to a serious heroin addiction. The ones who do lesser damage will probably go back to normal along a similar path as other types of self-harmers of yore. The ones who do more total damage will be living in tent cities, ala the fentheads of today (and there will be a lot of crossover, because heavy drugs are going to be the only way to manage the chronic pain and emotional horror.)

I bet that's it. Someone told them that busy patterns distract from the body contours underneath, so they are grabbing up every loudest and craziest design in menswear they can find. Same reason sweaters for fatties are always those loud Cosby type designs.
