My husband speeds on the highway, but doesn't do anything irresponsible and doesn't drive drag racing speeds or anything. I don't really buy that. Unlike other dumb crimes where they're trying to send someone to prison, tickets are a revenue generator. They want people who can actually pay them (and in the case of dumb fucks like Nick pay all the penalties after blowing them off). If anything being white and having an expensive car just says "ka-ching."

A counterargument to that might be that more affluent drivers will be a PITA by hiring lawyers and contesting the ticket in the court. Overall, rich people are better equipped to fight the system than the poor.

In the end, I dunno if I buy his rationale or not, but I just wanted to point out to @Balldo's Gate that Nick has claimed, at least as far back as 2020, to have had the ability the get out of tickets, and the reason he gave for that ability.

Moreover, it's interesting that he's never gotten one before last year (at least in Minnesota), but as soon as he looks and acts like a deranged crackhead they start piling up.

There is a world of difference between “aggressive 90mph two lane maneuver” and “flooring it on the New Mexican interstate highway”. I don’t know what it’s like in other states but in the ones I’ve lived in you have to really earn your speed ticket by driving retard speeds in normal traffic.
