I thought it was already established that Luffy had mastered Gear 4th, and now his go to was Gear 5, with the added caveat of him being too simple minded to realize he’s basically got god powers at that point.

As for Usopp, I thought his whole character thing was that everyone and himself undersold Usopp’s skills (though not as much as Chopper) resulting in him getting upstaged constantly.

I’m just surprised to see all these past chapters was because of some guy doing a D&D LARP.

In Wano Act 3 and beyond, his base form surpassed Gear 4 in prior acts and his G4 then could was spamable, but now, he's using G4 in base. G3 still has its place with that Elephant Whip two chapters ago, but G4 is now just a suped version of it when used partially.

Luffy also didn't get exhausted when he powered down from G5 last chapter. The gains are apparent quite early this arc.

Literally a giant manchild. Road is 63, and you can reasonably gauge a giant's youth by human standards by dividing their age by 3; so, he's 21. He's just a guppy, and given how Hajrudin only gave word of mouth, he's smart to put two-and-two together in recognizing them, but too narrow-minded as he only saw them as only mere humans he could use as dolls. He used a metal-wire net on them lmao.

From the looks of things he's not gotten out into the wider world much. The amount of humans who can fight giants are pretty small and there's a good possibility that he's encountered none of them this far. Even knowing that they have large bounties is not the same as understanding that means they are a threat to him because the organisation issuing those bounties is a human one.

Arlong was pretty much the same about fishmen vs humans not that long ago. Which might also be why Oda let Nami zap this fellow.
