"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I vaguely recall something from a few years ago where WoW had to remove the /spit emote from the game because everyone was /spitting on people in game that were riding on one of the real money store mounts. Was it the celestial steed, or something newer? WoW whales were getting butthurt that the community thought they were faggots so Blizz changed the game to keep them from feeling buyer's remorse.
They added a special high-poly warpstalker mount for dropping a fat load of cash on Burning Crusade Classic, and it stood out from the classic experience. It was actually Asmongold who drove people to abuse the slash-spit, and Blizzard decided to remove the emote from the entire game(classic, retail, everything) to make sure paypiggies weren't shamed from spending money. Would've been the tail end of 2021 or 2022.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but there are 2 MATI channels on Rumble? Also both joined on October 7th ☪️?

Some more information exposing Kim Belair of Sweet Baby Inc’s many lies and contradictions. She ran a woke protection racket like the mafia, up until Elon bought twitter nerfing their power to cancel things.

“Nice game company you got there, sure would be a shame if our friends in games journalism coordinated to write articles about your next game being problematic. Would be yet another mighty shame if all of our game journo friends on ResetEra started spamming those articles on Twitter and got you cancelled. Maybe we could help you prevent that…”

They tried to shake down the Black Myth Wu Kong devs for $7 million for “consulting” and got told to fuck off. So the outrage machine tried to come for them and failed.

Heya Josh I've poosted about this to you before but Genshin is a lot more crazy money than you think. Benchmark say Skyrim which sold 60 million copies. Let's be generous to Todd and say all 60 million were bought for $60. That's about 3.6 billion dollars.
Genshin in China has made 5 billion alone

So we're talking nearly twice as much as Skyrim. You named them in the last MATI but Mihoyo also owns Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.
Star Rail has already made over $1 billion and has been out for a year
Zenless has only been out since July and made over $100 Mil
And again, this game is 100% free. You can play this game start to finish and even clear end game content without ever spending a red cent. Yet, here we are.

Mihoyo is so stupid fucking rich they funded and paid for a nuclear fusion reactor.

Genshin is on record the most expensive video game ever made

Content wise, the game is only halfway done story wise and this mother of all cows is far from done milking.

In a rare Amerishart consumer dub, the FTC has passed a ruling stating that within 180 days, businesses will be required to make unsubscribing from services "require the same amount of clicks to end as they do to sign up, and in-person signups should have an option to cancel online or over the phone." Most notably, gyms, cable providers, and streaming services are notorious for either hiding their options to unsubscribe online, or requiring consumers to call in to representatives over the phone who will do everything in their power to try and convince people to continue using their services.

I'm too lazy to append the clip from last stream (octobre 15,2024) but at the point where jomshua Null was starting to talk about AsmonGold he said that he had 'no A-word' towards him and couldn't figure out the word, and then said that the word he was looking for started with 'A' and meant 'understanding' but I believe this was inaccurate and confusing to the chat because I believe he meant animosity as having no animosity towards someone would mean having an understanding or atleast not knowing enough about them to dislike them.

I believe you are correct thank you

I'm predicting now that Sai will be a bad guy,
This Sai?
Goddamn Sai.png
I’m predicting now that Sai will be mistaken for a cow by a Puritan side character. Sai will also continue to carry the narrative forward in the most grating way possible in a veritable death match competition for most annoying character, fought between herself & the neon codpiece nigg. There will also be no fewer than 3 more jump scares with Sai being forced on the MC in the next play through.

So, which one should I be playing? Any recommendations?
If you honestly want fucking gacha game recommendations, you should wait for a new one to drop that interests you and stick with it, because with most of those games if you are there from the start you never really miss out. The games aren't meant to be "fun" as much as they are "cozy" and frankly, most of the companies making gachas have made single player games and you are better off playing those anyway.

Despite their reputation, gacha games are not dominated by whales. Shitty mobile games are for sure, but games like Genshin impact want players to drop in, buy the seasonal pass and new player thing, and usually if you do your daily quests or whatever you will get most of the content.

Whatever game you chose, keep in mind the draw will very rarely be the gameplay itself, but will instead be a large, character driven update every few months. Which means if you pick Genshin or whatever you're going to be watching little girls or coom bait women talk to each other in anime baby voices with gameplay that's a little above an ambitious Indy game.

I recommend Limbus Company, but that's only because the company behind it is fucking insane and has already caused two international incidents and I already liked them to begin with for causing another international incident. Just play DOTA instead.

Is it just me, or does Ralph recently sound - when he's talking "normally", not hollerin', not wasted, just talking in a normal voice at a normal volume - like he's about to cry? He has a bizarre sort of tremor in his throat. It was really noticeable when he was deepthroating styx, possibly because he was genuinely emotional that somebody wanted to come on his show again and be nice to him.
After one of the times he caught covid in 2021, his voice got thrashed and it never returned to "normal". He's always sounded weak after that and can't even properly do his "dolphin laugh" anymore.
