This is around when Nick said this thread took a turn for the worse. Nick's thread didn't really take a serious turn until November of that year, and was declining quite a bit before then. This thread likely would have turned sooner if Nick hadn't already grifted so much goodwill and still held so many empty promises.

Then there was Nick being under fire from a mutual detractor (the trans community) at the time, which might have made people here sympathetic to Nick (and also resulted in Nick's confused LOCALS members thinking KF was initially a trans group).

What NOBODY saw coming was the 9 y/o testing positive for coke. And that's the thing that will dog him forever.

Some saw the signs when Nick had the family medical emergency after the swinger hot tub stream. Even if they didn't know the exact substance, it was on their minds. Here's an example from earlier in the thread:

Nick's descent might sound surprising on the face of it, but Nick's downfall was a long time coming especially with his problems and no signs of improvement.

The who are most "shocked" seem to be individuals trying to sensationalize the natural outworking of persistent bad decisions of a longtime substance abusing petty moron for money/attention.

TL/DR: Nick's descent (while certainly interesting) isn't all that shocking. Nick's situation wasn't a freak accident (even the more horrifying aspects). There was plenty of smoke before the fire itself was located and all of this was very preventable, which is why Nick is such a provably bad father, husband, lawyer, etc...

I don't know when it was that Nicks actual downfall began, but I know it basically went into overdrive NOT with the arrest, but when he came back from the arrest and immediately denied everything and said the cops etc were making it all up and nothing actually happened. Considering this is entirely based on paper that's already in the record, the lack of anything resembling an argument is pretty sad.

Because there are mountains of probable cause, well beyond the threadbare recitations of fact that often pass muster for a warrant.

This kind of motion rarely succeeds and when it does it's something on the level of "the search warrant was based on a single anonymous tip with absolutely no attempt to verify it" or "the search warrant was based on a homeless schizophrenic who also said the defendant bought the cocaine from a space alien" or "the search warrant was based on the officer noting the defendant had long hair and must therefore be a hippie with a house full of drugs."

This search warrant affidavit is full of multiple things, most of which would have established probable cause by themselves, with the possible exception of the deranged cokestream. Considering its length and that the search occurred almost immediately after the deranged cokestream, it's pretty obvious they added it at the last minute and would have been entirely comfortable going forward without it. To knock out the affidavit they have to knock out every single one of the other things.

They haven't even tried to knock out one solitary thing.

I can't cite exact videos, but back when I watched him a lot during the Depp era and before that, I remember multiple times when one of the kids would come into the room and he would basically scream at them for it and make them leave, then come back and complain about them for a while. Even way back then I thought that was really...off...considering he was 1. Working from home 2. Streaming at all hours of the day and night and 3. They're his fucking kids and needed something and his response was full autism about it. I always found it weird that people weren't calling that shit out all along.

I remember he screamed at his daughter one time when she came in after waking up from a nightmare and people did think it was weird (and not funny) because at that point, the fake family man bullshit was still his brand and it was unlike the way he'd previously responded. There was also his tranny stream where he was dressed in drag, but I think a lot of people just discounted that and didn't even watch it. Sure it was weird and faggy, but whatever.
