Not saying that this is the norm but a guy I knew that was in the Marine Corps Reserves (tampon marine) popped on a drug test for whatever Ritalin or Adderall shows up as. This was back in 2007 and the last time I talked to him was 2016 so I might be remembering the details a bit wrong, but he he got an other than honorable and managed with a lot of work to get it bumped up to an honorable..
