So this one features a bit more of Alastor's backstory and I must admit I kinda like it. It's shown he killed someone who accidently spilled his drink on him and tried to laugh it off, definitely sort of an asshole, but I was convinced Viv would go full "Alastor ain't that bad of a murderer guys!" mode and have him exclusively target people so reprehensible it's almost impossible to feel sympathy for them.

It's shown he killed someone who accidently spilled his drink on him and tried to laugh it off, definitely sort of an asshole, but I was convinced Viv would go full "Alastor ain't that bad of a murderer guys!" mode and have him exclusively target people so reprehensible it's almost impossible to feel sympathy for them.

I still gotta cringe at Alastors death. Frankly, I'm surprised how Vox never dug out this info and basically used it to destroy Als reputation. Like, sure hes a guy whos powered by Demon/Voodoo magic, but like if your rep is sunk nobody will take ya seriously.

I wonder, would it have worked more if the gave Alastor a sort of Joker treatment for backstory. Like, its kept vague and everyone shares or has heard a different version of who he was before he ended up in Hell or where he got this powers from. Cause, dishing out the TRUE version is rarely gonna live up.

Part of me misses RWBY, at least from the start characters we're likable until later volumes, with Vivziepop Cinematic Universe, I hate most of the main cast other then CHADam and Lute (obviously), and some of the female cast in Helluva shit show.

The leaker better have a villain speech prepared for why he’s doing this. Like, it better be Viv killed his dog, family, and friends and enslaved him to work at the show as a way to gloat. That is the only level of backstory I would accept, because if it’s Normal industry angst that‘s driving this, that’s a level of evil pettiness that belongs on the show itself.
