Man so many furries are crying about Cheeto Benito, and leaving twitter. I've already seen a few people nuke their accounts with several others trying their hardest to get people to migrate by posting teasers on twitter. They're all in for a rude awakening when they realise they'll no longer get "dem big numbas"on their artwork and their work will still get scraped and fed into AI. I give it a month before most of the crybabies slink back to twitter and the few boobs that nuked everything either try to restart or stay on an irrelivent site.
I'm also seeing alot of "if you're republican or voted for Mango Mussolini unfollow me I hate you" pretty good salt.

The artists are worried about being used for AI training they can't opt out of on Xitter. This is all artists, but furries do it first and do it dumber. It's also an iteration of the fracturing FA caused in 2010, with artists spreading to the winds and hedging bets against sites going down or becoming the next big one. Bsky isn't even the first alternative, but it is the first viable mainstream one compared to mastodon networks. It may actually split for real this time.

At the end of the day, bluesky still is a twitter fork, with all the mental illness that comes with it. Don't see how you can get normies to jump when Twitter is still orders of magnitude bigger and where every other normies is. It might become a tumblr-esque refuge for the most mentally ill though so I'm hoping for good milk longterm.

Bluesky seems to be actually used now, but Xitter is still huge and used more by the average person around the world. I reckon that Musk eventually will fuck it up for everyone because he's an autist himself, but most people seem to still have a Xitter account or at least a private account because Bluesky doesn't have those yet.

Bluesky will probably destroy Mastodon because only the most online nerds or actual paedophiles use Mastodon and Bluesky is pretty basic and actually has users. Bluesky is good for cow watching and Xitter is too.

basically, it's a document made by the Heritage Foundation, a right wing religious think tank. A lot of furries are panicking over it because they think Trump will enact it into law. Funnily enough, the GOP and Trump have distanced themselves from Project 2025, so their fears are unfounded.

If you want a good breakdown, look up "An Honest Take on Project 2025" by youtuber Mentiswave. He is a right wing libertarian & read the 900 ish page document. It's no Mein Kampf or whatever furries say it is.

Moreover, this policy is also quite unpopular among most people except for religious fundamentalists, so it's not likely it would get adopted.
