I need to start bugging my parents about my inheritance then since they have 2, although one was converted to a flatbed and I think the bed was lost. Although I'm absolutely considering getting one of them upgraded to the Edison hybrid Diesel if it ever exists.

You can build a new-old c10 for $50k (maybe that's slightly optimistic). The aftermarket on these machines is really really active. I'm looking right now to buy a new chassis for mine and it'd only come to like $13k slammed, not bagged, with all modern suspension. There are guys making bolt on solutions, and completely custom fab'd cabs, beds, bench and bucket seats, you name it. LMC truck have every doodad you could ever need too if you need a window seal or gas tank. On top of that these trucks including that beauty that was said to be $50-$100k could easily be found working in beautiful condition in the wild for $12-$20k. If you like the rat rod look even better, just clear coat it and call it ugly on purpose. You can also add and delete whatever the fuck you want on them including any fed wires or whatever we are being particularly paranoid about.
I actually don't hate this idea, and doesn't it technically exist in "profile posts?"

tbf wokeness (niggos, ugly butch lesbians) aside, it's just such a strange ad for a car company. Where the fuck are the cars? If it literally wasn't for the brief mention of the Jaguar name which isn't even in the correct logo style, you'd think it would be some weird Balenciaga knock off clothing brand. The ad could be made entirely with Yakub's finest A10 eyes blonde creations and it would still be pretty stupid since it doesn't even tell you anything about the product.

Well that's not what they do. They do the usual government things, which are to waste money, possibly while acting as a millstone on taxpayers, and definitely while protecting and growing their own bureaucracy.
Look, I get that Musk is a cringy sperg with a questionable, at best, personal life, but I got legitimately MATI during Null's take on DOGE. Really what Musk and Vivek are describing is a Department of FIRING people. Yes, 'efficiency' is in the gay 'DOGE' name, but if you listen to what Vivek is talking about it is eliminating large swaths of Federal agencies, functions, and the corresponding employees, along with a legal arguments for being able to do so. Efficiency starts with not having legions of useless employees either doing nothing, or even worse, finding more B.S. to inflict upon productive citizens.
As for the Federal agencies/departments that Null was rattling through, none of those are actually concerned with the largest form of waste, excess Federal employees, or probably any waste at all. Plus he had some of them absolutely backwards from what they actually do. Pretty sure that one is actually the Dept. of 'Federal worker job protection,' not efficiency. Putting GSA in the same sentence as efficiency is a fucking joke. Somewhat ironic that minutes later he floated his theory, possibly/probably right, on the IRS being the most bloated organization in history. These two sets of claims don't square with each other.
