Yeah it has become more and more obvious over time that Burt doesn't just have schizoaffective disorder but seriously can't remember anything and can't tell what is going on. They should boot him for his own good and probably should've done it quite a while ago.

I think he's on some antiseizure medication in his stack, and those cause memory issues as a side effect. It makes sense his short-term memory is shit, it can be to the point where you present with mild cognitive impairment, but it will go away if you get off the medication. Mechanism of action does some weird stuff with the electrical signals in your brain, but it could also be in there to help inhibit certain behaviors (drinking, drugs, sex, etc.), calm down mania, stop severe seizures; usually the relief is worth not remembering where you put your keys.

I'm surprised he's made it this far. At first, I thought he was a great actor in FH 2.0, but he really doesn't remember Frank and the epic battles with him, Mizzy and Frank.
