After catching up and reading the Kayla filing and his tweets last night, I was feeling very confident he'd go in and plead not guilty, so that Melton superchat was a surprise to me.

Rackets pleading guilty is not at all the end of the fun though. Suspended sentences can theoretically turn into real sentences depending on how retarded the guilty person behaves, and it'll be very interesting to see exactly what conditions he has to abide by in the plea deal, especially if he still has to get drug testing like Aaron claimed.

Most importantly, it is more clear to me than ever that Aaron Imholte dominates this cuckold's mind, and he absolutely without a doubt will commit more crimes against Aaron in the future. This gay Balldo vendetta is just too powerful and all-consuming.

That’s what I thought too, but then again I want to say someone explained that it would still get released if he pleads guilty.
People saying this like it's some weird binary thing is seriously oversimplifying it. While there's an active investigation, or an active case, different rules apply. It's still presumptively not available to the public, despite being a "public record," afterwards, but a different set of rules apply.

And the police aren't the final arbiters of this. If nool or some other "journalist" disagree with their ultimate determination it can also be challenged in court. Obviously if it goes to trial and the whole video is played in open court it's then clearly a public record, but if not, not necessarily. And it could be unavailable to the public because none of the exceptions to the default nonpublic status apply even after the case is finished.

We don't really know yet a) whether the police will release it; b) someone in it will do so; c) one of the exceptions applies and makes it available; d) what a court would decide based on this unique set of facts; e) what an appeals court would decide if it somehow amazingly goes that far.

I don't know the ins and outs of Minnesota public records law but I know with FOIA there's an administrative appeals process when the agency holding the records refuses to turn them over, and you have to go through that before actually filing a lawsuit in a real court.

Does anyone here remembers Baked Alaska's hate crimes trial? I think Baked had pled guilty, then said that he considered himself innocent and a victim of a wrongful prosecution. So the judge had to sit him down and basically say "look, I can't accept your guilty plea if you think you are being victimised. Taking a plea deal means accepting that you are, well, guilty"

Guilty plea inbound. He’s not even trying to claim innocence anymore. What’s his next cope going to be?
The cope is going to be he didn't do anything wrong, he's taking the blame so his family can move on and put this behind them. He's going to act like it was a great sacrifice to plead guilty even though he didn du nuffin.

Cowardly faggot can't handle people seeing him be made a fool in a court room.

Edit to fix spelling

Wasn't this motherfucker supposed to be in court at 12pm CST? He's still bitching at people on X

I had to plea, the case was destroying me, this is how the government destroys people. The process is the punishment. I was innocent but I had to plea. I had to.

t. Future nick
I had to plea because I am guilty, the evidence is overwhelming, and I would be raped at trial.

- Non-existent honest Nick.

The judge stopped the hearing iirc because he said that shit in open court. Literally said it straight to the judge's face.

Yeah, whatever. I’ll believe it when I see it. There’s always the option that the DA will pull his plea because of his behavior.
Nothing would be funnier than if he fully cucks, goes in willing to kneel and take the State's dick balls-deep, and they say no dice faggot. Here's some more charges too.
My question: If he pleas guilty to illicit substance abuse, will he be disbarred?
Probably not. However, if he pleads to a felony, a suspension is almost automatic.
I'd assume that if he pleads not guilty it would be entered into ebidance and become public record, and that if he pleads guilty the case is over and therefore there's no reason for the court to not release it.
We don't know that the court even has it. The only people who do are probably the police department itself, maybe CPS if they had some reason to get it, possibly the parties themselves, and maybe some state investigative agency if for some reason some other agency had an interest in him (purely speculative).

In any event, currently the ball is in the PD's court and there has been no noticeable activity toward delivering.
