The U.S is fucking weird. I mean, it does have the highest ownership of firearms per capita by a country mile, there is no denying that. But there are other countries across the world with high civilian gun ownership and things like this either don't or very, very rarely happen. I think personally, and this isn't a hot take it's pretty much been beaten into the ground at this point but.. the lack of mental health care, constant media attention to things of this nature after Columbine and the degeneration of the U.S over the past 6 decades or so has resulted in the perfect recipe for horrendous things like this to happen.

media reporting 4 dead and the suspect was a student is also dead

Suspect among five dead, police say

If you're just joining us, here's what we just learned about the shooting from Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes:

  • Five people have died, including the suspect, after a shooting this morning at Abundant Life Christian Academy in Madison, Wisconsin
  • Five other people are injured, ranging from minor to critical
  • Police arrived on the scene at about 11:00 local time (16:00 GMT) and began administering first aid
  • They also found a juvenile suspect, believed to be a student, already dead
  • Officers did not fire their weapons, but the attack took place near a police training centre

Barnes also said there will be another update in about two hours, we'll bring you any developments here.

You're not wrong, and while there's plenty of blame to go around; Reagan closed the asylums so crazies don't get dropped off and left. Now throw in the progressive shit, where you can't criticize people for damn near anything because it's oppression or whatever, and their need to collect mental illnesses like Pokemon; I don't want to agree with you, but yeah, we have a massive fucking mental health problem, and sadly, as much as people cry for help, they're not cries for real help. It's performative bullshit, while the truly deranged just fucking do whatever they want.

Most happenings in China are suppressed by the incandescent gooks. The weibo leaks are the tip of the iceberg.
Often mass casualty events in China will only be reported as having like 35 dead because if 36 or more people die the mayor of wherever it happened gets fired.
It might be anti China propaganda but I want to believe it’s true.

In my opinion it is ironically the obsession with muh mental health that creates a lot of these problems. People are neurotic and allowed to indulge their bullshit. What they need isn't to talk and talk endlessly but for boundaries to be enforced. No, you don't do this. No, that is unreasonable. The other half of the equation is how the media covers such things and how they've whippped up people into a frenzy thinking there is a population of people out there who genuinely want to lynch gay people and shit. It creates extremists on both sides.

That's a lot of words for "niggers and pooners."

I will agree with you on the media front, especially if the shooter here ends up being a pooner or motivated by current happenings.

Well no, Reagan just finished was began in the 1960s. By the time he closed the asylums they had been on a downward spiral for almost 2 decades. It technically started with JFK.
JFK had a bug up his ass because of what happened to Rosemary. And people assumed schizos would take their Thorazine and Chlorazil without wranglers to hold them down and inject them.
