So I have something minor and wasn’t sure where it fit, so I put it here.

It’s an advice column from a site called “Oregon Live” called Dear Abby (Abigail Van Buren, the syndicated advice columnist that’s been around for-fucking-ever) and it addresses a man’s secretive cross dressing. Sites like this (advice and etiquette columns) constantly are being recommended to me on my home pages and this one slapped me in the face.

TLDR he says he likes wearing biker shorts and ladies legging under his clothes, loves the way the feel, and has for years, is this an issue? And our dearest “Abby” replies “no of course not” even though he’s been in a relationship for literal years and hides it.
It bothers me a lot bc I feel like I’m watching someone encourage deviant behavior that’s going to turn another woman into an emotional wreck of a trans widow. Like I get you can’t be too harsh or people won’t write in, but be fucking honest. “you’re a fucking degenerate and you need to tell your girlfriend what she’s getting into, what she’s literally invested years of her life in.” Again, I think it’s the big syndicated “Ask Abby” column but come on. If you’re gonna give advice do it honestly. When did we get to the point that telling people they need to be honest in their years long relationships was too conservative?

Girls in North Africa can’t “opt out” of getting their clitorises incised. Girls in Afghanistan can’t identify their way out of marrying an elderly pedophile any more than their male counterparts can to escape bachā bazī.

There was this one tranny posted here who was mad he didn’t get molested like his sister. Perfect example. Even if a tranny could magically pass completely (they can’t), even if they could rewrite every cell in the body, you either got fingered as a kid or you didn’t. That’s not a privilege you can shed like a chrysalis. Part of what makes trannies identifying as another sex so rude is this lack of empathy and understanding. This might have something to do with the fact that spergs are 3.03–6.36 times more likely to troon out (see Warrier et al. 2020, archived as an attachment below).

TLDR?
You don’t hate these people enough. You don’t hold them in enough contempt. There is no middle ground with unscientific, evil garbage. This is the oldest of old school, "classical liberal," "live and let live" approach to crossdressing men. I even see some otherwise "terf" leaning women spouting this kind of rhetoric, to this day.

And it's never been safer in western society to try it out. But the men like in the column still are secretive about it (and it's always intimates, never something like a casual satiny shirt)...why?
