If the last scenario happens, I'm going to laugh out loud since, during the battle, Andrealphus hit Millie with his ice powers so hard it sent her crashing into the weapons room of Andrealphus castle yet the baby is likely fine. You can't imply the baby is still alive after its mother was involved in a big fight scene just because you didn't show the positive pregnancy test. The characters' durability is another problem when it comes to the lore. One moment they are shake off copious amounts of damage like it's a Looney Toons and in another moment they get hurt so bad they need bandages and casts (see Millie getting her leg caught in bear trap).
Yeah, people are saying "oh no, Hell is so dangerous she will have to quit her job!" Why? Imps seem to just accept that is their lot in existence just sort of carry on. No reason to think having a baby is treated with kid gloves in Hell. Loona punted that baby and I guess it was probably fine because of the Looney Tunes dynamic.

Hell, earlier in that episode Millie's loving husband blasted her out of their top floor of a highrise office with a rocket launcher and it was no big deal. That's just how you celebrate Christmas in Hell, it's actually encouraged and welcomed.

What you said got me thinking: is this just a plothole for when it (the plot) needs silliness/slapstick humor to happen, while fighting and death happens when... well, it needs to?

Consider this: the fighting with Elsa vs the faggot. I guess it was intense (didn't watch), and Adam vs Lucifag, then Adam vs Fraudlastor. Must have been serious. Yet, Loona punting the baby and then this now. When does "real life" physics apply and when does cartoon/looney tunes physics apply? When the plot needs it? Would this happen on Earth too? Heaven? Space? Limbo?

Yeah, it is pretty much dependent on the whims of the writers – even during the Exorcists vs Hazbins fight, Adam scores a direct angelic laser hit on Niffty and she just... tanks it, for some reason, even though it's an instakill when used on everyone & everything else (not even Pentious' massive fucking blimp survived!!!)

I've got a schizo theory on that and why Pentious went to heaven.
The deciding factor that sorts people between hell and heaven is actually really simple, gays go to hell, straights go to heaven. That, of course, is why every fucking character in this show is a flaming faggot, because they're all gay. People joke that Viv didn't think about the ramifications of making everyone in hell gay, but I think she absolutely did.*

What does Sir Pentious do RIGHT BEFORE he's obliterated and dies? That's right... He falls in love with and kisses a woman, saving his soul and finally earning him redemption.

Now, I know you're thinking, "But doc, what does any of this have to do with Nifty's ability to tank the blast?" Great question! Who is, according to vivzie herself, the ONLY straight character in the cast? That's right, it's Nifty. Clearly Adam, being the first straight man in existence, has special anti-gay beams that obliterated the faggy parts of Sir Pentious, freeing the straight parts of his soul to ascend to heaven, while Nifty, who was already straight, was unaffected. As for why Nifty's in hell despite being straight, well, we don't have all the answers yet, but I expect Vivz' genius writing will explain all in due time.

*i do not actually believe this, this headcanon is just really funny to me.

I can’t remember what episode it was, but I saw some screenshots where a bunch of queeves (the housefly-dog things. Yes, they’re called a queef) knock over the same lady’s baby carriage and a bunch of beer bottles fall out. So even though the pilot wasn’t canon, Loona killed a baby and the mother turned to alcoholism.
Make it make sense, VIVIENNE.

That baby would grow up to become a shipping fanfic writer whose posts would be discovered by Vivziepop and inspire her to ruin the premise of Helluva Boss. There’s a reason the pilot episode is not canon.

Alright, I swear this is the last post I’ll make on the baby thing since I’m pretty sure you’re all sick of watching me sperg. But the way this fandom is and their parasocial relationship with Vivzie solidifies it that her trying to tackle sensitive subjects is a bad idea.

Thankfully there is still some rational thought out there.

Maybe it’s just because I know someone who had an abortion and said it was a horrible, actually traumatic experience, but everyone taking it so lightly just irks me a bit. Doesn’t help that I already saw a bit of this in one of my own fandoms.

Niffty is apparently supposed to be based off a cockroach (Yes really, I think Viv's allergic to having insect inspired characters in general because Beelzebub looks more like a fox than a bee, much less the disgusting fly creature people hoped she would be to make her design stand out), so the joke is nothing can kill her because of the myth that cockroaches can survive getting nuked. Still, it deflates a ton of future tension when even a very high-ranking angel's attack that can flat out vaporize a huge airship leaves her no worse for wear.

As it stands now it's just... baffling. She seems like she's in as reasonable a place as a demon could be to have a kid. We just don't know her well enough as a character to know why she wouldn't want one. The cart was put before a horse to milk the drama of the situation without actually giving it stakes first.
She found out she's having a baby after almost being executed by Satan, after a trial which ended up putting a Goetia in her workplace and after picking a fight with another Goetia.

She'd be fine if it was just Blitzo she'd be afraid of but now Stolas' incestious brother in law might be targeting IMP to prevent Stolas from getting his status back.

Apparently not, considering the mom reappears in a later episode with her stroller being filled with bottles instead and reacting with distress over the stroller getting thrown over again.

That's right, folks: Loona killed a toddler because she was throwing a tauntrum. *laugh track*

EDIT: Failed to see someone already pointed that one out. mb, guys.

Fuck's sake, now I want Shiffty to die. Fuck that. She's straight or a cockroach so she can "take it", no way. She can't take a bunch of fucking bullets to the head.

So I was being autistic and trying to figure out how long Helluva Boss would last since we're getting two more seasons of this show:

I'm not starting with the pilot here, so the first episode of the first season was on October 31, 2020. The last episode of the season was on October 31, 2021. I'm not including the Queen Bee episode in this because of its production hell, and it was more of a special anyway. So that's 7 episodes for one year.

Then there was about a 9 month wait for season 2, the first episode being on July 30, 2022. The last episode for this season was on December 21, 2024. So, that about 2 years and a half for 12 episodes.

So, let's give a year for the next season. Third season starts sometime in January 2026. 15 episodes for this season, so let's give them a three year run, so it ends in December 2028. We get the fourth season with 15 episodes, so we'll repeat the same thing here; give them a year break, season 4 starts in January 2030 and then ends in December 2032.

Which means that Helluva Boss is going to be over a decade old show. And this was me being generous with the production going smoothly and there are no hiccups along the way. Do you honestly think Helluva Boss will last for over a decade?

I don't think viv will last for a decade.

I’m honestly wondering where Vivzie even plans to go with this, especially if she really is abandoning the assassin premise. By this point it might as well just be a sitcom with demons and occasional safe edgy jokes. What are we actually going to get besides drama with Millie, Stella, and Stolas?

I don't think viv will last for a decade.

She plans on making 6 seasons of Hazbin the same exact as BoJack Horseman, and I think this entire series WILL end up being longer than whatever the fuck YanDev is cooking. She has a way with writing shit and not getting to the point (Which I only seem to see in FanFictions.)

Quick Edit: Does she even know why BoJack Horseman and South Park was beloved beyond the "edgy jokes" and "Deep meaningfulness"

Vivzie did so many retcons and basically speedran this season so they could basically get Blitzo and Stolas together. Even if Season 3 is focused on getting Octavia to forgive her deadbeat dad...then what? The entire season they've tried to make Andrealphus seem like a machiavellian schemer but he ended up looking stupid. They're not telling me all of a sudden he'll be the danger they need to face if they ever get to the 4th season.

This is why they should've kept the original premise. They wouldn't have "written" themselves into a corner since they could have just kept making the show episodic.

Viv and company can't write threatening antagonists to save their lives. (They can barely write at all, and I was going to type that they couldn't write antagonists at all, but Adam and Lute exist) Andrealphus isn't that only one hit by the 'actually nonthreatening' hammer. Remember how literally everyone thought that Stella was going to manipulate Octavia because of how she acted in their final scene of Mastermind? Never mind that setup, Stella doesn't even bother with any subtle forms of manipulation in the next episode, and it honestly makes Octavia look braindead for not hating her mother even if Stolas is also a shitty parent.

Remember how Striker was also setup to be a highly competent and noteworthy threat in his debut episode? Better scrap those ideas because he's treated as basically a complete joke after that episode.

I feel like the best antagonists (only talking about the recurring ones because they were used multiple times) were Adam, Lute, Mammon, and the DHORKs and CHERUBs.

Adam and Lute since they actually feel like more of a threat and were given some competence in the action scenes they had, even if both of them are kinda goofy, but the fact Adam was able to actually defeat Alastor and really lost because Charlie and Lucifer ganged up on him does work.

Mammon is a joke character, but he is actually not meant to be the most serious of threats and fits the tone with him, and he was intimidating to Fizz and probably could've gotten away with it if someone on his level wasn't actively helping out

Both the DHORKs and CHERUBs are complete jokes and are meant to be comedy villains so they do their job well there, like being pure comedy antagonists save them a lot of the writing pitfalls that Andre and Stella fall into (like both feel like comedy villains placed into a serious story).

This is an issue with Striker as while he can be somewhat threatening, season 2 made him a comedy villain with few good moments. Same applies for Moxxie's dad who feels too comedic to be taken seriously as a threat despite the show wanting to make him intimidating.

After Striker was introduced, everyone thought he'd be the antagonist until season 2 came around and made him a bumbling idiot. Season 2 as a whole made EVERYONE bumbling idiots, the people who wanted Striker back got their wish but in twisted monkey paw sort of way.
