Plagued Lolicon/Shotacon Defense Force - The people who jerk off to cartoon children and won't ever shut up about it

I also happen to know that New Zealand has also banned High School DxD for being overly sexual involving characters who are young and are minors. So the fact that this anime has become popular at all is extremely creepy.
NZ unbanned it back in 2022 and gave it an R-16 rating

I will say this of High School DxD. If you watch it unironically, you are the sweatiest neckbeard coomer there is. It's tits and ass the show. I'm not sure there's a plot, didn't watch it. It's fap bait. Not Lolicon, but more the jiggle physics end of the spectrum.

This man is probably on an FBI list if he hasn't already
Is the dude a coomer obsessed with High School DxD? Oh yes. Is Crunchyroll run by absolute "NO FUN ALLOWED" faggots (which FUNimation also was)? Yes. Is censorship bad? Yes. Is it scummy of them to suddenly, quietly, censor something that has pulled in big viewership on their platform for years, showing that they hate their userbase with a passion, and this is something that is affecting paying premium customers? Yes, and Crunchyroll should get fucked for that among other things.

It's one of those flagships that unfortunately gross perverts have latched onto, however, censorship should always be fought back against, and companies and distributors need to decide where to draw the line when it comes to licenses so they won't have to end up censoring anything. If it goes against their new TOS, they should just remove it while giving their userbase a heads up that it will be gone in X days because removing something that was a long-time staple without telling anyone is scummy. It then forces people to make their own distributing company/platform to release whatever it is they want that no one else will, which is healthy competition, and allows separation so you can find out super quickly who's a creepy fuck and who's not based on where they gravitate towards.

The dude is complaining that the logged-in front page and the posters are sanitized "This is for children, bro!" (lolwut), and he should be made fun of that, but it's actually true that Crunchyroll and other streaming platforms have been removing ecchi anime from view recently despite them being front-and-center for years. You'd think the algorithm would be personalized, so if someone watches ecchi on the regular, or something more action-packed or older, that should be shown on the home page for those users, right?

Legit, this right here is actually retarded and needs to be called out. And apparently Highschool of the Dead is no longer on Crunchyroll when it used to, and no one's realized this.

Actually agree. I'm going to laugh at someone that watches DxD. I don't think it should be banned. It's just a show about tits. At that point I really don't care. It's not lolicon. That is not a battle I'm going to fight. The bitch on the thumbnail looks like a demon succubus. It knows its audience. Don't let your kids watch it. Simple as.

Edit: high-school of the dead got taken by Hidive/ sentai filmworks

Oh that's right lol, 99% of Sentai titles got removed from Crunchyroll after merging with FUNimation even though Sentai was sharing HiDive titles with them. Was still pretty shitty tbh.
Yeah, Sentai kinda said "fuck you, we already have our own platform, we aren't helping Sony get a stranglehold on anime". And so like a bazillion titles either got removed completely, or they left one season to tease people to come over to Hidive. This was not great in terms of user experience. Market yes. Users got shafted. You had that 2010 perfect Netflix, and now it's all fragmented between all the streaming services

I don't like loli but how do I know if some character is a loli or not?
cannon age doesn't matter, only body counts. what proportions are not loli proportions? most sites say around 7 heads for adults give or take.
Lolicon is toddler to 12. By that I mean if it doesn't look like a literal little child it's not loli. Beyond that you get into the weeds.

showing that they hate their userbase with a passion,
"Localizers/game journos/game devs hate their customers!!!" is such a retarded talking point. Yes, there should be some courtesy between customers and companies, but expecting these employees you've never met to be ecstatic and excited to serve you is as retarded as expecting a McFaggot's wagie to look forward to serving rowdy teenagers and fat mutts with a smile. I'd hate my userbase too if they were a bunch of manchildren who cry censorship at dumb, trivial things like being unable to EPI teenagers with ecchi anime.

Sentai Filmworks is unimaginably keyed for resisting the SNOY monopoly while centring niche gems like Galient and LOGH. Hopefully they get the Ideon and Xabungle BDs back in print.

If you work for a anime company, I expect you to like anime. Most people would kill to be in their position. If I pay for your service, yeah, don't make it worse.

I unironically like Sentai and wish them the best. If only they could fix their fucking app.

There's a difference between liking anime and putting on kneepads for a bunch of grown men who feel the need to weave a false narrative of oppression over their Redditor hobbies and get mad at the most minimal child safety measures. It's like expecting stores to give big payouts to busybodies who sue after looking for a loose tile to slip on.

You're comparing apples and oranges and conflating two completely different issues with each other. A McDonalds worker isn't expected to exercise creative liberties when they're cooking up burger meat and deep frying potatoes and chicken. Localizers have to find some way to not only translate one language to another, but also make sure it's understandable by the target audience that the product is being translated for since certain aspects of culture and language don't necessarily translate 1:1. Game journalists have to articulate their thoughts on the games they play. Game developers have to try and articulate some manner of creative vision into a video game format that can be played.

Because of the creative liberties afforded to the latter collective of careers, you run into an issue where a lot of people will insist that THEIR interpretation of things is correct, even when receiving negative feedback and criticism. That's the matter that plagues localizers/journos/devs. It's not that they hate their audience necessarily, it's more that they approach the matter of poor feedback by doubling down on the fact that their vision or interpretation is objectively correct and you WILL like it, otherwise you MUST be blind or that the work was not meant for your consumption because you cannot appreciate their creative genius.

Now, when's the last time you saw the average teenager, Hispanic of dubious citizenship, or nigger at a McDonalds have to worry about the refined art of putting the fries in the bag?

I'm fine with them not putting ecchi on the front page. Whatever. But those grown men you mock are currently holding anime up and have been for decades with their wallets. If they want a show about tiddies, fine. At least I know they aren't watching toddlers getting fucked, they're into T&A.

Ah, I see! So it's okay to insert lines like, say, "no cap" or "patriarchical expectations" if they help the target audience understand, they Westernize Japanese cultural aspects being conveyed, and they facilitate easier dubbing.
Game journalists have to articulate their thoughts on the games they play.
In other words, they have to share their opinions, which may differ from the consensus and make people mad.

Yes, and isn't it bothersome when their creative vision is shouted down by a bunch of manchildren who demand nostalgia, coomer games, and generic games about a white guy with a buzz cut doing action-y things?

But that's a correct mindset. A man won't get much out of Twilight or Taylor Swift, but that doesn't mean those things are bad. If you're only interested in games about bald white barbarians killing people, you won't get much out of games about black women going on character-driven journeys. Not everything is meant for everyone, and that's okay. A the same time, every normal and well-adjusted person is able to detect when something is toxic or harmful, and we need to listen to that because they're more often than not right.
But those grown men you mock are currently holding anime up and have been for decades with their wallets.
Maybe that's why anime mostly sucks unless it's for kids!

How can you say something like this on KF, especially considering many of the characters they're attracted to are either canonically underage or have faces that look underage? Also, the type of guy who's gooning to ecchi will eventually run out of things to goon to and move onto more extreme forms of pornography like lolicon and CSAM, especially considering how many characters are high schoolers (it's literally in the NAME: High School DxD!!!)

That is a hell of a fucking slope for what is a show about tits. Looking at boobs doesn't make you a pedophile, the fuck? As for canon ages and shit, if it looks like a demon succubus, that's what it is. This is animation. I don't take the 500 yo loli vampire argument seriously, that goes in reverse for the titty demons.

Man, the "characters" in DxD (and I'm putting it in quotes because this is glorified anime pornography, there's no characters) don't look at all like high schoolers and I'm also very much doubtful that they act like high schoolers either. It is degenerate pornography but not really lolicon

40 mins video of a lolicon who was baited into sharing CSAM and then gets reported for it on an NCMEC tip. From there, police seize his computer with a warrant, find AI generated lolicon on it, and he gets charged with 20 counts of knowingly possessing child pornography. The cops literally say "lolicon is illegal" as they're cuffing him.

If someone seriously did bait him into sharing CSAM then they should obviously be incarcerated as well of course, but it's still such a captivating watch. Sucks for all the bystanders in the dude's life who were put through turmoil over this incident. That's what makes it such a powerful rebuttal to the pro-lolicon side of the issue; it affects far more people than themselves when they have their gooning sessions.

The uploader currently has embedding disabled for whatever stupid reason. And yes, he really was wearing the Rich Evans "Dick the Birthday Boy" shirt when the people executed the search warrant on his home. It's not clickbait.
Rich Evans is a national treasure and it disgusts me that this degenerate is sullying his good name.
