This man is probably on an FBI list if he hasn't already
Is the dude a coomer obsessed with
High School DxD? Oh yes. Is Crunchyroll run by absolute "NO FUN ALLOWED" faggots (which FUNimation also was)? Yes. Is censorship bad? Yes. Is it scummy of them to suddenly, quietly, censor something that has pulled in big viewership on their platform for years, showing that they hate their userbase with a passion, and this is something that is affecting
paying premium customers? Yes, and Crunchyroll should get fucked for that among other things.
It's one of those flagships that unfortunately gross perverts have latched onto, however, censorship should always be fought back against, and companies and distributors need to decide where to draw the line when it comes to licenses so they
won't have to end up censoring anything. If it goes against their new TOS, they should just remove it while giving their userbase a heads up that it will be gone in X days because removing something that was a
long-time staple without telling anyone is scummy. It then forces people to make their own distributing company/platform to release whatever it is they want that no one else will, which is healthy competition, and allows separation so you can find out super quickly who's a creepy fuck and who's not based on where they gravitate towards.
The dude is complaining that the logged-in front page and the posters are sanitized "This is for children, bro!" (lolwut), and he should be made fun of that, but it's actually true that Crunchyroll and other streaming platforms have been removing ecchi anime from view recently despite them being front-and-center for
years. You'd think the algorithm would be personalized, so if someone watches ecchi on the regular, or something more action-packed or older, that should be shown on the home page for those users, right?
Legit, this right here is actually retarded and needs to be called out. And apparently
Highschool of the Dead is no longer on Crunchyroll when it used to, and no one's realized this.
