Icann's lookup service does list a RussellGreer.com, registered back in 2019 through namecheap. Whoever's responsible for it has decent opsec, as their information's all blocked or a virtual office address in Reykjavik.

That's not going to protect them if Hardin gets interested. The virtual office in Iceland might not play ball, but Namecheap is based in the US and can be subpoenaed.

I am curious now, who's the mail provider behind that domain?

Earlier, we got the stipulation that nether Russ, nor his brother, nor his father will be testifying at trial. Russ has also said in emails to Hardin that he has tons of evidence of the harassment infringement (though he has not yet cataloged or produced it for Hardin). I am starting to think he intends to claim all the various screenshots he has presented in both his original and amended claim, motions, replies, notices of supplemental authority, and other filings are the evidence, and that he will attempt to introduce more potato-quality screenshots of mean emails, negative reviews, and the like, as further evidence of the harassment infringement at trial. The judge, clearly set on acting as Greer's lawyer, will probably allow it.

Thus, I am starting to think that perhaps the various mean emails, negative reviews, and other nonsense that Greer files as exhibits should be investigated, their sources identified, and if not sent by Greer himself, their authors subpoenaed so they can be grilled on whether or not Dear Feeder or anyone else here directed them to fuck with Greer or his copyrights.

Fortunately, the supposedly infringing copy of Greer's book was hosted on Google drive, all of the mean emails Greer is receiving are at a Google address, and it looks like his weens might be using Google mail as well. Google's bread and butter is the collection and organization of data. They operate in the US, and can be subpoenaed, and so will probably respond to a request to preserve evidence.

Will that be additional expenses upon Dear Feeder and the legal fund? Yes. Are any other Kiwis feeling rich and generous again? Perhaps the legal fundraiser should be an annual thing to keep the war chest topped off.

As a bonus, unmasking Russ's weens might lead to new and interesting lolcows.

And that email is about the fakest one possible.

No, you see, while he is at work, he can sneak time away from his assigned tasks to send emails, and not get caught. But actually getting on a voice call or video call with Hardin, that's much harder to conceal, and then he would get in trouble for not working. And his boss is a meanie-pants who won't allow reasonable requests, like a short break to take a phone call from a lawyer, because he has a legal thing going on.

Interesting to see that he doesn't have a stable LV address. So he claims to have a job, but is apparently still living in his car. I wonder if he's still renting the same one and how much that's costing him every week.

I think he's still driving for Uber, living in the car he rents from them. If he is, refusing to take phone calls from Hardin while he's driving around is one of the less stupid things Russ has done.

It might be possible to request the records from Amazon on what was uploaded as the free sample and when. They track fucking everything, why not this?

Since the book was not actually bought, and since we know the date range it was available for free (November 4th-6th), Hardin can subpoena Amazon for the number of sample downloads in that range. It isn't proof positive Russell did an oopsie, but it's strong evidence in our favor. If Amazon has a local or cached copy of that original upload, that would probably be the nail in the coffin.

The address given on the whois page autoredirects to your personal address and yeah, in case there's no response it's very easy to make Namecheap sing and probably nuke the perp's account out of retaliation.

You could just forge email headers all day long because there's no way to verify them against the records set up by that retard.

I guess he just looked up a tutorial without really understanding what he's really doing (opening up a great big vector for spoofing headers) and pasted them in wholesale?

To be fair that’s not really on Russ, the absolutely huge number of people I’ve seen who have their own domain (small contractors, etc) and just use a Gmail (or worse yahoo or aol) email is way too fucking high.

I have lawyers representing me in a lawsuit appeal against said site. The lawyers representing me have been gracious enough to represent me at below market rate because they agree that the site harassing me is bad and needs to cease its activities of tormenting people.

Setting up the MX records is on Russ though because that's explicit manual labor you have to do, most of those bums with a personal domain and a generic shithouse Big Email address just leave them completely undone. Namecheap even autofills the SPF record for you to automatically kill all emails purporting to come from your domain so you don't immediately get Spamhaus'd for someone trying to use your domain for bogus headers, you have to manually go in and remove that.

When I was getting a domain for my home server the registrar had a service where they claimed to make it super easy to get an email address that is your name .com or something. You couldn't use it as a full site unless you paid more but it was somewhat cheap for emails. I'll see if I can find it later.

Then I realized the email wasn't sent FROM russellgreer.com but TO russellgreer.com


I can make an account with a name of "Russell Greer" on my domain and send emails to "nullsucks@kiwifarms.net" and it would look the same. Then I 'bcc' the real email address
I'd get a bounce message for the fake email but if whoever I sent it to is stupid then they'd think that nullsucks was involved.

The interesting thing is he included the contact info for both To: and Cc: but NOT the From: line, presumably because he sent it himself. The full line would say "Matthew D. Hardin <greersockaccount@gmail.com>" the right hand part is conveniently cut off.

Edit, hell, I bet I could add "Fuckface McFuckerson" to my address book and it would helpfully show that in the From: line.
Also, what's the redacted bit... Subject line? actual email address it was sent to?

While we're documenting Greer lying about what a quote means, his Exhibit B is a classic.

So not only has Hardin wanted meet and confers at drop of the pen moments, but the meet and confers have been regarding very frivolous things, like not liking wording in certain documents. EXHIBIT B.

That was not a "drop of the hat" request for a call within an hour. In emails days earlier, Hardin proposed three different date/times for a call. Here he's trying to confirm whether Greer intends to show up for one of the slots, since Greer refuses to communicate and confer with Hardin in any meaningful capacity. Hardin has said elsewhere that he has to wait by the phone for these proposed slots on the off chance that Greer does call in, costing him time and money.

"not liking wording in certain documents" is a nice way of saying "attempted character assassination", but that's not even what Hardin is trying to meet about. He's trying to meet about the flaws in Greer's disclosures. Shitlips can't even follow the thread of conversation in his chosen communication form, email, even when the entire thing is tracked and threaded in simple text for him.

He's both a lying sack of shit, and too incompetent to tell the truth if he ever did try.
