As someone who did actually take a few "childless adult Disney Vacations" in the latter half of the 2010's, I can assure you ... I have witnessed "Disney Adults" like this.

People like this ruin everything for others who don't suffer from chemical imbalances and personality disorders.

I love how Gen Z mocks Disney Adults, too. It's literally only the millennials doing this cringey shit. I'm a millennial myself, and I find it absolutely hilarious how Gen Z judges millennials so harshly (it's well-deserved, lol).

I seriously didn't think this was real when I saw this trending, but holy shit it really is.

Ignoring all the retcons, it's hard to take the songs after Encanto because they're all so forced. Listen to the stress in "bruh-thaaa." They don't help in telling the story, they get in its way. It might be because I've grown less tolerant of musicals, but now it's less "that's nice" and more "shut up please."

its crazy because like there are legit things for adults to do at disney, they have like a "eurovision" for gourmet food every year, and plenty of other things besides going on the rides and meeting the characters, Epcot has concerts and shit and really tried to embrace a "year round worlds fair" that only an adult could truely enjoy. but these manchild really fucked the meaning of a disney adult with this shit.

Tbf, I imagine the internet/death of tv has helped Gen Z immensely in being less attached to Disney, since there are so many media alternatives including youtubers, streamers etc that were available to them as kids.
I'm sure that when they reach the age millennials currently are they will have their own groups of people unhealthily obsessed with something from their childhood that the younger generations can make fun of, I'm just not sure what those things would be.
Or maybe their short attention span will genuinely eradicate this issue almost entirely, since they're too busy hopping to new stuff to get too deeply attached to any one thing?

Anyway, I vaguely remember that in the early 2010s it was 'trendy' to be a hipster who combines hipster shit with disney shit, at least looking at old pinterest, tumblr and buzzfeed.
I wonder how many disney millennials realize that to Gen Z, being obsessed with disney just makes them come of as weird and outdated, rather than the 'quirky & cute' image it gave them back in college?

Later Gen Z kids feel nostalgia for let's players, streamers, and Minecraft, so I imagine Alphas will get attached to Skibidi Toilet, Bluey, and whatever mascot horror games they play. The internet became Disney to them in that they interact with it all the time. In a way, I don't think Disney Millennials care as much about what Gen Z thinks as much as they want Gen Z to stop making fun of them on Tiktok. Disney Millennials feel time slipping and want to stay quirky college kids forever, like that 40-year-old mother of two that still draws herself as a twenty-something. And porn of herself. I've noticed them complaining on certain sites that, "being unique and having your own style leads you to being bullied," but I digress. They're still doing modernized Disney princesses. Here's what I found looking up "modern Disney Mulan."

They're not entirely new, but you get the idea.

Those days are long gone...

LMM makes the rounds for being incredibly liberal coded, but at the very least anybody can watch his stuff which makes him no different than anybody else in Hollywood.
Reminder that Lin-Manuel Miranda hero worships convicted terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera:
The second path to FALN traces back to Chicago, and a young Puerto Rican named Oscar Lopez Rivera. He and his high school buddies were young activists.

The story is Oscar Lopez Rivera & friends were recruited by Filiberto Ojeda Rios. Raising the q: …so, uh, could FALN be considered an act of war?

It’s murky. Per Burrough, there’s no evidence Cuba gave FALN operational orders. More that they wound them up, let them go.

That said, FALN had an amazing set-up in the hard left. Not only were they trained in bomb-making by Weather Underground, they had possibly the best Institution any radical group has ever had: the Episcopal Church.

I’m still not kidding.

FALN started bombing in ’74. Their demands were 1) Puerto Rican independence 2) release of PR separatist prisoners. Their deeds were nasty. FALN targeted cops with a fake call and a boobytrap, disfiguring one. They bombed a restaurant on Wall Street, killing 4, injuring over 40. Outrage at the deaths changed their approach. They started bombing at night, setting off department store fires — nonlethal, but harrowing. More harrowing: FALN opened new fronts in Chicago and in Washington, D.C. Bombing in three cities demonstrates serious logistics.
In Christmas 1980, a new group called the Puerto Rican Armed Resistance bombed Penn Station in NYC during rush hour. No one was hurt. In May 1980, the PRAR called in bomb threat to JFK. A Pan Am handyman found their bomb, and alerted people, but the bomb killed him. Two more bombs at the airport were found in the aftermath. It was all getting going again. And then, just like that, it ended two weeks later when Oscar Lopez Rivera and a new recruit got stopped for an illegal U-turn. Lopez Rivera got 55 years.
Of course, that didn’t stop President Obama, in the last days of his administration, from commuting the sentence of Oscar Lopez Rivera. The decision caused ecstasies of delight in Lin-Manuel Miranda, celebrated author (and former star) of HAMILTON, who pledged to reprise in the role in a Chicago performance especially for Lopez Rivera, whom Miranda referred to as “Don Oscar.”
Days of Rage
"Sure, they murdered innocent people, but they did it for Puerto Rico!"

A pilot for a Holes TV show has been ordered at Disney Plus, Variety reports, but there's a twist – it will follow a group of teenage girls instead of boys.
Per the project's official logline, "In this reimagining of the beloved 1998 book from Louis Sachar, a teenage girl is sent to a detention camp where the ruthless Warden forces the campers to dig holes for a mysterious purpose."

These ideas have to be either tax write-off schemes, or someone purposefully sabotaging these companies from within to where everything is destroyed.

There's multiple examples of these things not working, with the all female ghostbusters being the biggest trainwreck. How are there still people that can look at all that shit and then STILL go "yea, we should totally do that, but THIS time it'll work!"? It's like the socialist meme except genderfied.

A show about teenage girls. And it's called Holes.

Well done, Disney.
Maybe the pendulum did swing back.

Also people seem to forget the "women in prison" genre of the 1970s that was basically soft corn porn and used the cheapest b movie actresses Available.

Disney bringing that back with nubile teens is basically making them cuties 2.

And that's if it's an authentic remake, it also doesn't seem to factor in characters like kissing kate or the interracial teacher that wouldn't translate at all.

I know for a fact it will be shit, if it gets made at all.

Nothing like girls getting their brother's old hand-me-downs.

It could work, it is a fairly feminist book in many ways. I just don't trust Disney to do it in anything approaching an artful or entertaining way.

Got to ask, is there anything resembling "gourmet food" at disney anymore? Heard the quality has gone to she shitter and the whole plan is to put the crappies thing possible with a disney logo on top and call it cuisine.

I'm pretty sure they still have the high ticket joints like Victoria And Alberts but no clue if they're actually anything by overpriced food joint standards.

there was sort of a weird thing where originally Disney came in and dragged Orlando up from boiled peanut stands, now Orlando is actually sort of big shit for food places and Disney's been fading for years
