To be fair, the "Scam Train" meme has been a thing in twitch communities LONG before Mald got popular.
The "Hype Trains" are referred to as such because they don't really do anything and twitch pushed for them super hard when they first became a thing.
Streamers got upset because the way twitch was talking, they implied higher payouts or benefits for streamers and viewers who hit hype trains consistently, but ultimately it was just a worthless gimmick.

I wouldn't be surprised if people are becoming aware of this, and rather then comment, it's just putting a space between themselves and Mald. At the very worst, he's getting kicked out of Onlyfangs. The very best, is that nothing happens and people move on per usual.

One comment I noticed from a chatter in Preacher's clip I think sums up Jason's tactics as a whole: He's bringing his "ten years" of EVE Online Strats to WoW.
