Just a reminder that UHNWI (ultra-high-net-worth individuals) have so much money that they are literally mini governments that have their own personal advisors, PR firms and their own personal doctors, hair stylists and all sorts of shit - and most importantly spend millions of dollars a year on security. When I mention security you're probably thinking bodyguards and security at their houses and that sort of shit, but at this kind of level they will have people who advise them on policy positions that have an impact on lessening the likelihood some crazy fucker tries to kill them or they cause huge public outrage that endangers them or their precious bottom line.

Besides this they will get indirect instructions from significant shareholders telling them what to do and also enforcing that they must have people who do this kind of advisory shit. This is basically a prerequisite at this point in time given how fucking stupidly large some of these companies have become and how much the reputation of the CEO can impact the market value of companies.

So when you see "new" Mark Zuckerberg or Elon or any other UHNWI pivoting its not generally they themselves doing it and especially not like this - for as smart as some people may be (and Mark and Elon are genuinely smart) it is impossible to keep abreast of the entire world all at once for a single person.
