I don't know but consider he was playing a mage.
Got to 60 by aoe farming mobs for xp probably, I doubt he hardly had to do any dungeons and when time came to start farming gear situations like this were bound to happen.
Did he ran many dungeons pre lvl 50? I don't think so, maybe the orgrimmar dungeon and zul farrak but that's it.

He keeps saying that he's(was) one of the primary guild enchanters, meaning he was just hoarding greens to shard and calling dibs on recipes.

Since this is vanilla wow "hardcore" you need 40 people for raids, but if you die you lose your character lol.
This means retarded streamers in this retarded streamer guild keep dying while leveling or doing random shit. meaning that they don't ever have enough people for the "guild's first raid", it's a fucking cycle and a cycle that keeps perpetuating itself with the "let's postpone the raid because X retard died"

This last point makes Maldman's fuckup that ended with 3 lvl 60 characters dead and he could've saved more damming.
