Could go with Internment Camp as well or POW camp since they've all been "rescues" but Satsuki is right, Gulag won't get people mad about it (unless they're tankies).

Gulags is the same as Auschwitz, but ran by Communists, they were also internment, reeducation and POW camps, all in one.

Ill add that giving yourself a name people are already familiar with and associate with positive things is a trick to condition people to associate those positive qualities with yourself, unless you are autistic.

So by calling myself something THOR its something people are already familiar with, they know what the name represents, and he is trying to glue himself to it, by making people call him THOR he is already tricking them.

Another example of this is Mr Beast, "wow what a beast" it already has a positive connotation, and then you add the Mr to it and it adds authority, so just people mentioning you they are already conditioning themselves to associate your person, with the positive qualities of those words.

Its something narcissists do but try not to make it to obvious, nickname "Mr Perfect Top Man" probable sounds obnoxious, but Mr Beast while having the same intention is more tame.

You're extrapolating the quality of life in meat farms to Jason's account of an "animal sanctuary." People are going to dig into the care he's giving the ferrets and question why the ferrets are dying over easily preventable causes (overheating in an enclosure which he says it's impossible for them to die from). The lying you mention does come into this though when he says his partner is "an exotic pet vet" yet the pooner in its infinite expertise, consistently exposes the pets to COVID and other illnesses. Don't really see the reason why you think that this isn't something he shouldn't be called out on when it's just another avenue to gain money (merch, amazon wishlist, donos) and at the same deny these ferrets the death they need if they're terminally ill. Just another reason to call out this retard because he wanted a reason to have pets so he decided to come up with the idea of creating a "non-profit" while getting paid for it.

I've thought about this before. He has mentioned how important those "kingmaker" slots on Twitch are, which are the top 3 slots in a category, as people will naturally gravitate towards checking out people in those kingmaker slots instead of clicking on the stream with the 9th highest amount of viewers in that category. That part isn't a Maldy lie, those kingmaker slots do exist and they do funnel people to your stream. The issue is that he has claimed he got into a kingmaker slot by intentionally streaming when the more popular streamers in his category would log off, so he would more easily take one of those slots. However I've been wondering if he was viewbotting initially. Not a colossal amount of viewbotting but enough to get into those slots so it can cascade into people being funneled to his streams naturally.

Now that he's not in the much smaller Game Dev category, he may be viewbotting harder to maintain his kingmaker slot in the bigger categories like WoW.

That's actually not unusual. Plenty of streamers that multistream will often find that one platform has significantly more of their audience than the other. In fact, youtube culls some of the viewers from the view count. A lot of streamers will have their stream ready to start with tons of people watching but the moment that stream presses "Go live", suddenly their viewcount drops.

I don’t understand, genuinely, the point of Jason’s effort to save ferrets. They last at best five years. Hell I don’t even get why people would give cats or dogs insulin. You are dragging out the inevitable and likely making an animal suffer when that medicine could be best used elsewhere.

It’s okay to love your pet, but when you gotta let it go you got to accept it. It’s never fun, but cie la vie, it never will be.
