Its more that its another poor reflection of character. Could Jason altruistically want to enrich the lives of Ferrets? I can see it, he must have seen enough good qualities in them to make it his fursona (or be very sick) and go on to attempt a Ferret Sanctuary.

But he's fallen for a classic pitfall, which is that he wants to rescue every animal despite not having the resources to actually do it debatable because it seems like he's making money hand over fist. So instead of letting these animals go to other Ferret Rescues in Washington (Around 8, possibly more when I did research), he's taken in more than he can handle, and as such they're living in substandard quality. Its like the people that absolutely have to "rescue" any stray cat that they find, wind up with 20, and quality of life sucks for every one of them.

On top of that, just euthanising any animal with a sniffle is retarded. But Jason's gone to the other extreme, where he just lets terminal animals suffer to death instead of releasing them into the Ferret God's embrace.

He needs to have said "Sorry, intake is closed, we're at maximum population" around 20 Ferrets ago while he waits for his proper enclosure to be finished. Its not just that each Ferret requires more attention than two people can give to 45, its that they're easily overheated and susceptible to infections. Each extra Ferret is another chance to become infected with something and pass it on to the rest of the population.

Plus this dude won't stop bragging about things, he'd die to brag about "Yeah I have 45 Exotic animals at home "

Im not an expert but on my 2 cents on this, he is not going to do it because he has nothing to gain from it, like a sociopath he is carefully try to maintain an image from himself, trooning out would be a major setback at this point, (basically equivalent of a "rebranding") he already getting the attention and the money from now as things it is.

I watched a bit of PiRAT yesterday. He was getting asked on stream "The next time his going to play outer wilds". He seemed completely oblivious to what they're referring to.

I think the big enchilada is his "Ferret Sanctuary". His addressed the 501(c) filing before but I'm somewhat not convinced around this at all. (Read more on Post 4605) What really irks me is that his 100% intermingling this money & might not be today but it'll definitely come back to be a problem for him. I just can't understand not wanting to set yourself up as a 501(c) and divest the two separate entities.

One other small thing I found on, NONE of the ferret rescue sites appear to list Snail house at all. These Ferret directory sites don't look to be the most well maintained websites ever, but I would imagine that contact details would be fairly critical.

Also, I don't know if it was mentioned previously in this thread but Threat Locker in December started sponsoring PiRAT. Somewhat surprising as they're primarily B2B and not selling to retail consumers. I'm a bit confused as to why they sponsored Mald, I assume they thought "Cyber Security Streamer! Lets put our logo on it". Also his comment:

This is retarded. Just because they're selling to businesses doesn't make them inherently good, come the fuck on PiRAT at least try and pretend you aint just taking the bag for the money. Roach out is a term that comes from Asmongold's twitch.
That means when a person cowardly escapes a situation that isnt benefitial or its escalating against them. A different of way of saying "they are a pussy bitch"... Also similar how Roaches the first thing they do is escape any sort of situation that looks even minimally risky.

Its just a modern day slang of saying "cowardly running away" but also pointing you doing it in the most low level disgusting way possible, like a roach.

Asmon created the term. While he never played on Hardcore mode, he would make tons of videos reacting to people's deaths in hardcore mode and he pointed out the roach behavior that would happen in dungeons. He used the example of lifting up a huge rock and then a bunch of cockroaches start scattering in every other direction. Basically it means running away and caring only about yourself while leaving everyone else to die. It is the most cowardly and selfish behavior.

Asmon's community even made a guild called <ROACH OUT> and they were notorious for immediately fleeing the moment something didn't go to plan and it looked even slightly dangerous. Didn't matter if it was an easily salvageable situation where everyone could survive, they would all roach out and scram for the exit.

If you've been blessed to never see a cockroach it can be a bit confusing.

The short of it is when you turn lights on in dark areas the cockroaches freak the fuck out and scatter in every direction like their life depends upon it.
So when someone hauls ass or scatters at the slightest thing it is often referred to as "roaching out".

Basically, it's self preservation at the earliest sign of trouble instead of using skill to ensure people live.
The reason it's "roach" is because there's a bunch of lvl 1 passive creatures that are there basically as flavor. Things like deer, bunnies, etc. The cockroach is a docile creature, and is bugged to where if you aggro it somehow, an AOE that doesn't do damage, it runs into a group of mobs, it social aggros when it shouldn't, thus bringing more aggressive entities into combat while still being the most useless docile mob on the playing field.
I'm paraphrasing from a WoW autist I know. but basically, Cockroaching is acting like a literal passive roach in game. A passive, docile creature that fucking runs, social aggros everything else, and it brings more danger. Fellow WoW lads can correct me on this as I'm not someone that plays MMOs, I just know a lot of people who do.
