The recall applies to Tesla’s 2024-2025 Model 3 and Model S sedans, and to its 2023-2025 Model X and Model Y SUVs.

In 2024, Tesla issued 16 recalls in the U.S. that applied to 5.14 million of its EVs, according to NHTSA data.

This is their 80th recall according to the NHTSA site.

I did a quick rundown over the recall stats for Tesla and the situation is uberfucked.

Tesla produced around 6.75 milion cars to date (link). Just to get an ideea how small that number is for comparison GM made the same amount in one quarter.

This makes the situation worse for Tesla since you think that they manufacture less their QC will be more rigorous but nope, they are made with the same care of an alcoholic mom has with their children.

The biggest recalls for Tesla reach in the millions, that means there are cars that have been recalled multiple times for various issues.

Some of the reasons are more insane than others, but having your hood fully open and make the driver blind is probably not the best look for your expensive corporate slop of a car.

I think percent wise Tesla is way less than other manufacturers, but considering the low production numbers, the constant marketing that these are the cars of the future and the fact that the CEO is the richest man on Earth that can invest in better QC but prefers to hire Pajeets to do the work of actually qualified personnel will only increase these numbers up more and more, probably beating the numbers of consecrated car manufacturers. Also for any fag who works at NHTSA and reads this, make the data downloadable by excel.

Looking at the what has happened with Elon in the past months or so is the result of 3 major factors at play: uber autism, lack of a PR team and drugs.

Autism is pretty self explanatory. Elon is a massive autist but for the most time he managed to cover it, thanks mostly to his PR team that acted as a nanny that managed all of his sperging. I have read Elon's biography done by Ashlee Vance and in it you have mentions of how tired his PR team was trying to keep with the constant shenanigans Elon was doing in the past. What happened most probably is that Elon fired most if not all PR staff because now he has control over the platforms that criticized him in the past, mostly Twitter.

Of course that did not happen as he thought and now has to deal with his own PR fiascos.

Now it has been mentioned in this thread but let me tell you again how bad some of the drugs that Elon takes on the regular are.

Ketamine is a drug that all users tell you to "respect" it. The effects it has on you are no joke and one bad K hole can change your brain chemistry for a very long time, if not permanent. And from what I see Elon probably takes it like candy thinking that "oh I am super duper smart I can get out of K hole easily". This combined with other stimulants like Adderall, Acid and a dash of Modafinil will fry your brain to fine crisp. If Elon only stuck to some occasional weed every once in a while he would be fine, hell, maybe he would chill out for a bit from his sperging and actually take care of his kids, or look over his employees better. But because he only wants to be up up and more up he will stick to stimulants till he has no kick from them anymore.

At this point I am not going to be surprised if Elon kicks the bucked from an OD.

I've read plenty and even though he has clear lolcow attributes he has achieved a lot and the amount of hate he gets from insane trannies and retards on twitter who have never achieved anything is insane.
But I do realize that most of this thread is about his lolcow traits, and in terms of whether or not he deserves my pity or compassion or even whether it is whether my personal time to write about him is purely up to me.
