Considering how much of a bitter prick he is even on his best days, the effort of not acting like a belligerent cunt alone might be too much for him. Acting in a nice and wholesome way for a prolonged period of time might actually push his neuron past its limits, and do the job that tons upon tons of pepperoni grease couldn't.
