Lucas lost due to his own behavior a job that can be done by most lower order fish. Dare say, a bass even. It shows how truly stupid lucas is that he just keeps repeating the same phrases virtually word for word when he interacts with people. Its like he's a defective terminator with only a handful of responses programmed into him. The funny thing is lucas has even admitted this in the past - in the 2010 reflections he admitted that as a kid he would teach himself phrases and actions to use to interact with people and occasionally teach himself things he saw people say or do that he thought would help him. Not to mention the stuff about getting his brother to teach him how to interact with people. Despite being told by multiple people for literally years that his conclusions and statements don't make any sense he completely ignores them and just keeps repeating himself. It never occurs to him even when told, that if his parents had any intention of giving him anything they wouldn't have let him live on the street or in the worst nursing home in the city. He has no way of knowing that they haven't touched that supposed 1.3 million. If it ever existed at all (and I doubt it did) that was 25 years ago and its likely long since spent. He really thinks he's being clever 'sharing' his stuff with people. Lucas does not do such things out of actual generosity or kindness, he expects something in return. His behavior is entirely transactional. His behavior proves he's greedy, as does the fact he gets so pissy about being called on on it and feels it necessary to post looney rants like that trying to convince people how totally not greedy he is. His parents are not atheists, he's admitted this in the past and their own posts show they're not. If they're telling him otherwise its to avoid the spaz out they know is coming if they don't and to keep him quiet. As always lucas is too stupid to realize this.. and telling people not do discriminate based on any metric? Thats rich coming from the guy who fixates on little girls and loses his shit whenever anyone holds him to his own standards or questions his actions

Yeah that wouldn't surprise me, lucas has a tendency to convince himself his meth claims about people are true, which is rather ironic considering how much he wigged out when dan campbell made a similar claim about him with heroin, and even now he'll immediately launch into his usual 'where is your evidence?! why are you making accusations without evidence?!' spiel which makes him look guilty. If Mallon wasn't such a dumping ground he would have to be kicked out or forced into the funny farm with this behavior. This as well all agree is the end of his life.
If he got the care needed he'd be a drugged up zombie left to rot or if Mallon cared about their wards he'd be kicked out.
Most of us rightfully equate quality care with a better outcome. In a selfish broke brain like Lucas he's better off neglected because he's such a danger to all around him he can't be kept in anything but a strait jacket and padded room.
Mallon is just keeping him for his tugboat. Despite his very real risks to others. The laplantes are absolutely scum fucks and I hope Lucas gets to move into one of their spare bedrooms because the horror these people allow.

I'd say the gift lucas was going on about back at the hospital was this laptop. Used no doubt just like the last time. I'm surprised they would get him another one considering what he did to the last one they gave him and how he spazzed out about how bad of a gift it was because it was used. Its a small wonder he hasn't traded it to somebody for a pot of noodles or weed again or tried to sell it for money to buy a steak at clinkerdaggers
The cynic in me wonders if getting lucas a laptop was part of some bigger plan on his parents part. I mean they suddenly showed up at mallon place after making a point to avoid him like the plague and went considerably out of their way to do this and then gave him an expensive gift that they already know from previous experience lucas can't be trusted with. I know if I were him that would have set some alarm bells off for me that something was up. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this laptop included some extra features. Like, say, a keylogger his parents installed to keep an eye on what he does with the laptop so they can use it as evidence to have him locked up for good the moment he starts getting creepy with underage girls again, so he's kept out of their hair and from causing an embarrassment to the family permanently. On a related note i'm kind of surprised none of his more persistent trolls over the years tricked him into getting a keylogger on his system to expose his behavior
That said I see lucas is back to his previous 'genius' plan where he thinks having a zoom call and getting a woman on video somehow means she's real and can't be a troll or otherwise fucking with him or setting him up for something. He's literally had such chats in the past with people who were setting him up and it only made it easier to make him buy into whatever they were setting him up for. Given the current shitload of AI chatbots and such that are being used to make youtube videos and such I won't be the least bit surprised if in the future someone uses one of those to trick him again with just such a scam. Falling for a literal AI generated woman would be peak wern and exactly the level of stupidity i'd expect from him. Come to think of it I won't be surprised if predator hunting groups start using these in the not too distant future
