I will say. Personally I'm pessimistic on this whole thing, and think that Destiny's audience is delusional enough that they would forgive anything from Tiny, so I wasn't really expecting any dramatic changes other than in the future Destiny will be an even bigger joke and will constantly get bullied for being a sexpest in any debate he participates in.Why would the daliban be bragging about view counts? they’re at Vaush tier - and vaush didn’t even hasan bait in the title
However, I'm actually surprised that his YT video views are actually taking a hit.

(Everything before the Nick Mullen interview is before the Pxie public statements)
He's struggling to even hit 100k, and videos which are August's usual way of milking money (Hasan/Rogan/Tim Pool) are also doing extremely poorly.
I wonder how much more he can bleed, because hypothetically, even if his live viewership isn't affected in the longrun, if his youtube views were to become handicapped due to the drama (as normies who watch his youtube videos are less likely to forgive his degeneracy) I wonder if August would end up leaving for another channel as Destiny's wouldn't be as profitable anymore (this is hypothetically if his views continued to dip even more, which I seriously doubt will happen).
Pretty sure August has actually talked about opportunities he has seen before, and is constantly paying attention to that kind of thing.
Destiny is basically completely illiterate when it comes to managing a YouTube channel, and even tho August barely does any editing he seems to be good at noticing trends, knowing how to title videos to maximize views (even if it comes at the cost of everything being clickbait, which is why his subreddit always complains about it).
Now, I don't know anything about how YouTube works, however, I'll assume that it has to work similarly as all other sites in which you sell products. In freelancer sites if you receive a set of bad reviews, that will ultimately affect you even more, as your gigs will be advertised less, so I'm assuming that when a bunch of people (more than 15k in this case) unsubscribe from a channel, you are not only taking the hit of losing those active viewers (that is also not taking into account that there's a huge chunk of people that won't even bother to unsubscribe but will stop watching altogether) but also, I'm assuming Youtube will advertise/promote your channel less than they were doing before, as you are creating a "bad product".
But again, I don't know if YT actually does work the same as freelancing sites, but I don't see why it wouldn't, it just makes sense to decrease advertisement of something that people are going out of their way to show their disapproval of (bad review = unsubscribe).
