Or are the Eagles just that good? I honestly don't remember being all that impressed with the little I saw during the regular season.

The Eagles are just that good. They've arguably never been better in a very long time. They're at their best and the Chiefs are at their worst in their Dynasty. They only got in thanks for the Refs greasing the wheel for them.

The Eagles almost lost to the Rams and the Lions. It’s not like they’re impenetrable. There were a lot of great teams in the league this season, and the Chiefs weren’t one of them.

Chiefs beat the Eagles on a last second field goal a few years ago. Eagles beat the Patriots near the end of their dynasty a few years before that which is likely what you're thinking of.
